It is the 12th Century. Sir Brian, Earl of Huntingdon, returns from the Crusades to aid the young Lord Justin and protect him from the evil Sheriff. In return, can Justin heal the wounds Brian carries with him after his experiences in battle?

Note: This story turned out a little more difficult to do than I thought it was going to be! Having set it in the 12th century, I found it wasn't possible to use modern language. Therefore, it's not going to be as quite as explicit as many of as would like, but perhaps more a tale of romance and chivalry. I hope you enjoy it all the same.  Feedback welcome.

Judy was with me all the way in this one - it was her bunny and encouragement and suggestions that kept the story going ----- that being said - this is a story where Justin was sent away not long after he met Brian --- yet the connection was there and they remained friends and more -- this is how the next few years developed

Justin only had his one night with Brian, their lives moved on – it's 6 years later and the blond is going to give Brian a run for his money.

This is a slightly AU fiction that has some elements of canon, but as Brian and Justin have never met, things are different. There are elements of OOC for all characters at times as I had to decide what I thought the characters responses to situations would be. Brian is 34 and lives in Pittsburgh and Justin is 21 and lives in NY. They meet after Lindsay and Melanie go to NY and see Justin's art and suggest that Brian checks it out next time he is in NY. This story is not kind to Ethan, sorry. I wrote this story for the queeraschristmas LJ Challenge, thanks Rory!

Brian learns to cope with being a father. Brian doesn't want the constraints of fatherhood so Justin becomes the father figure for infant Gus. Years later, where, and how, does Brian fit into their little family?

This leads from my fiction Christmas in the big apple and you will need to read that first for this one to make sense. In this story Justin and Brian have meet in New York through Lindsay and Melanie. Justin is 21 lives in NY and is an Art graduate from NYU while Brian is 34 and is the only partner of the Vanguard Advertising Firm in Pittsburgh. The gang are all on holidays in New York together.
