Justin opened his eyes and looked around. He started crying immediately, remembering where he was. Since the night he had discovered what his parents were planning to do, he had packed his things and was ready to leave. But his father told him he wasn’t going anywhere. That Justin was going to put the baby up for adoption, finish school and go to college. When Justin had tried to leave them saying he wasn’t going to give his son up, his father had hit him hard enough to make Justin passed out. When Justin had woken up again, he was in his room. Soon enough he had found that his door had a new door knob and that it was locked from the outside. He had tried the windows but his father had sealed them too. Justin had screamed until he had no more voice. He had cried until he had fallen asleep and also begged with his mother to let him out. But nothing had worked. His father would bring him food and if Justin tried to run away, he would hit him. Justin just stayed in his room waiting for someone to miss him. He wondered where Brian was and if he even cared. Justin got up from the bed and walked to the bathroom. He took off his pajamas and got into the shower. He could feel a little of pressure on his back but it was not much. When he was done, he dried himself and put on fresh new clothes. He wondered how long he had been locked up in his room. He had counted the first week but then the days started blending one with the other and he just didn’t cared anymore. *** Carl put the file down on his desk and looked at Brian. Brian couldn’t wait to see what was happening. He had come two weeks ago asking for the man’s help and was dying to know what Carl had been able to do. Every time Carl had sent officers to Justin’s house, they always told him that Justin wasn’t home. Then a week ago, the Taylors had told them that Justin had run away. “I tried everything I could but they don’t think there is any reason why the Taylors would keep Justin locked up.” Carl said. “There has to be something we can do.” Brian said. “Please, Carl.” “We can’t. We would need an order and for that we would need cause.” Carl explained them. “The first time Justin left…when his father threw him out, Mr. Taylor came to the department and reported his son missing. He said that Justin had run away.” “Fuck.” Brian hissed. “They can’t do this.” “What are we supposed to do now?” Michael asked. “We know Justin didn’t run away because we called Daphne. He would have run there to her. They stopped passing her calls about three weeks ago. The first week everything ran smoothly and now things just have turned to shit!” “Relax.” Brian told his even thought he felt like screaming too. There was a brief silent moment before Carl reached for his wallet and looked at them. “I know a guy.” Carl said pulling a card out of his wallet. “His name is Dan Connor.” “What does he do?” Brian asked, taking the card. “He is a bodyguard.” “I don’t need a bodyguard.” Brian hissed. “He does other things too. For a certain amount of money he would do whatever you ask him too, within reason. So don’t send him on a killing spree because he won’t do it.” Carl said smirking. Brian nodded. “Good luck, Brian.” Carl said. Brian got up quickly. He had a call to make. He had to find out where was Justin at. *** Chris knocked on the door and waited. He wanted to know what was going on with Justin. He had been absent from school for the past month. He was worried that something bad had happened to the blond. Justin had attended school for two weeks straight and Chris knew that the blond liked coming to school. So he figured there had to be something wrong. “Hello.” Molly said. “Hey. It’s your brother inside?” “He’s sick. My Mommy said that no one should bother him.” Chris nodded. “What does he have?” Chris asked. “He’s been absent for a while. It must be something serious. Is the baby okay?” “You know about the baby?” Molly asked. Chris nodded. “Are you the father?” Chris shook his head. “I’m Chris. I’m just a really good friend of his. I was wondering if you would let me in to see him.” Molly frowned not sure, but then she thought that maybe Chris could cheer her brother up. She hadn’t seen Justin in a long time and she wanted him to be better. “Okay. But Mommy says that he doesn’t want to come out. I hear him cry a lot. I was going to go see him but Daddy told me not to.” Molly said and stepped back to let Chris in. Chris nodded and closed the door. “Which way to his room?” Chris asked. “I’ll take you.” Molly told him smiling. The two of them went up the stairs and towards Justin’s room. Molly knocked on the door. “Leave me alone, you motherfucker.” Justin hissed. Molly shrugged. “Dad says he is delusional or something.” “Molly? Molly is that you?!” Justin asked shouting. “Molly, you have to help me.” “Justin?” Chris asked worried. Chris turned the door knob but it wouldn’t budge. “Chris?” Justin asked. “Oh my god. Help me, please.” “Open the door, Justin.” Chris told him. “I can’t. They locked me in here.” Justin screamed. Chris looked at Molly who had started crying and banging the door. Molly wanted to open the door and ask him what was going on. She was scared. She had tried to sneak into Justin’s room at night and now she knew why she hadn’t been able to get in. “I’m going to go look for something to open the door with.” Chris said. “No!” Justin screamed. “Go get help. Get out of this fucking house, please.” “Molly, you stay here with him.” Molly nodded. “I’ll go get help.” Chris told her. Chris got down the stairs and out of the house. He pulled his cell phone outside and started dialing 911. He was going to stay there until the police arrived. He was going to get Justin out of that house. *** “I have been watching him for a while now.” Dan said. “He’s going to be home soon.” Brian nodded. “Jennifer comes home around nine today.” Dan told them. “She goes out with her friends.” “Okay, so I go and knock and when he comes out, I tell him that the cops are on the way and that they are coming in this time and searching every inch of the house. He’s going to move Justin out of the house, if it goes like we planned.” Michael said. “Then if he comes out, we’ll be there waiting.” Dan said. “And if he doesn’t, we’ll go in.” Brian hissed. “What if he has a gun and shoots you?” Michael asked and suddenly remembered the one time he and Justin were joking about that. “Then so be it. I need to make sure that Justin is okay.” Brian said. “I need to bring him home and I know he didn’t run away. He would have gone to New York with Daphne.” Michael frowned and hoped that the plan worked. “Hey look, that guy just came out of Justin’s house.” Michael said pointing. Brian turned around and frowned. He started walking towards the guy. “Hey.” Brian called out. “What?” Chris asked turning around to see Brian. “Who are you?” Brian asked. “What is it to you?” Chris asked. Dan and Michael caught up with the brunet. “Brian, this isn’t part of the plan. Justin’s father will be home any minute.” Dan stated, trying to pull the man back towards the car. “Brian?” Chris asked, getting excited. “Are you Justin’s Brian?” “Do you know Justin?” Michael asked. Chris nodded. “Is he in there?” Brian asked, before the younger man could speak. “Yes! His parents have him locked up in there. I’ve already called the police.” “I’m going in.” Brian said going up the steps of the house. Now that Brian knew for sure that Justin was in the house, he was going to go inside and not coming out without his blond and his son. “This is not the plan.” Dan repeated. “Fuck the plan.” Brian hissed. Brian was about to open the door when he heard a car coming up to the drive way. Turning around to look he saw that it was Craig. Craig seeing all of them there got out of the car quickly and walked fast to the entrance of his house. “What the fuck are you people doing here?” Craig asked. “Get the fuck away or I’m calling the cops.” “I already did.” Chris yelled back. “You sick fuck!” Brian opened the door and walked in but then stopped and came back. Dan looked at him with a questioning face and next thing he knew Brian was punching Craig. “Stop.” Michael said. “Beat him up.” Chris shouted. Michael and Chris looked at each other before they looked back at Craig and Brian. Craig managed to punch Brian on the ribs and Brian fell back. When Craig moved towards him Brian kicked him on the stomach. “I’m going to kill you.” Brian spat out grabbing Craig by the neck. “That’s enough.” Dan said pulling Brian back. Brian stood up and glared at Craig. “You are going to pay for that.” Craig told him as he got up. Brian shook his head and rushed inside the house. “Where the fuck do you think you are going?” Craig yelled and moved to go after Brian but Dan got in the middle. “You want to get through. You go through me.” Dan said smirking. Brian went up the stairs quickly when he heard someone crying. He stopped when he saw the little girl on the floor. “Who are you?!” Molly asked quickly getting up. “Get away.” “Where is Justin?” “Brian?!” Justin asked. “Is that you?” “Justin.” Brian said as he went to open the door. When Brian tried to open the door and couldn’t, he started kicking it. Michael heard the loud banging and couldn’t take it anymore. “I’m going in.” Michael said and Dan let him and Chris go inside. Michael and Chris reached the second floor to find Brian kicking Justin’s door while Molly was screaming harder. *** Justin sat on the steps of the house with Brian’s arm around him. He never had thought that he would see daylight again. He was so happy that Chris had come to see him and that Brian was planning on breaking in to get him out of there. Justin had told Carl everything that had happened and they had taken his father away and were looking for his mother. “What is going to happen now?” Justin asked. “You’ll come with me.” Brian told him. “What about me?” Molly asked as she sat down. Molly had a bowl full of strawberries and whip cream. She handed them over to Justin. “Thank you.” Justin said. “Aunt Jasmine is coming to pick you up, Molly.” “She will come with us in the meantime.” Brian said. “At your apartment?” Justin asked. “All of us there?” “We can move to the house baby. It’s already ours.” Brian told him. “Really?” Justin asked smiling. “That’s so great.” “So you are the father.” Molly said smiling. “You are okay.” Brian arched a brow at her. “You heard that, Sunshine. I’m okay.” Justin smiled and nodded. “Can’t you stop eating? Not even now?” Michael asked smiling as he approached Justin and Brian with Chris next to him. “I can’t help it.” Justin said. “I’m so fucking hungry. I barely ate anything. I wasn’t in the mood.” Justin savored the strawberry before he started crying. Brian hugged him tight. “I thought I would be locked up in there forever.” Justin said as he put the bowl away. “Shh, it’s okay.” Brian told him kissing Justin on the neck. “I was so fucking scared.” Justin told him. Brian pulled Justin up and sat him on his thigh. He kissed the blond quickly and then hugged him. “I’m sorry.” Molly said getting up and kissing Justin on the cheek. Molly sat on Brian’s other thigh and put her arms around Justin. Justin held on tight to her and hoped Brian would never stopped hugging him. Michael and Chris looked at each other and then both of them moved away to give Brian, Justin and Molly some space. “So that’s Brian.” Chris said trying to make conversation once they were away from the trio. Michael smirked and nodded. “What’s your name?” Michael asked. “Chris. And you?” “Michael.” Michael said, taking his time to look at Chris. “Are you checking me out?” Chris asked shocked. “What if I am?” Michael asked. Chris looked away and tried not to blush too much.
