So take my hand and I’ll pull you along. 3rd Person “I really wish that I could paint the ceiling.” Justin said for the tenth time. Brian was currently sitting Indian style in the middle of a sea parts for the intricate and ornate Jenny Lynn crib Justin insisted on getting delivered. “Justin.” He said his lovers name with an annoyed tone. Justin put his small paintbrush behind his ear and turned to scowl at Brian. “It would only take a minute Brian.” He whined. “I could get up on a chair and you can be right under me just incase I became off balanced.” Brian let out a deep breath and stood up. “You are probably a little more than six months along Justin. Your belly is huge. You can barely balance to walk. You think I’m going to let you get up on a chair, risk yours and our child lives so that you can paint a few fucking clouds on the ceiling?” Brian shook his head in exasperation. “But.. But.. I want the baby to look at the clouds over his crib.” Justin said. His emotions were already on edge and his bottom lip started to quiver. He turned away from Brian and went back to the mural. “Justin we have been over this. Remember what we read? It’s too risky. You can put them up there after the baby is born.” Brian watched the blond dip the brush in the red acrylic before putting his hand out to the wall and just holding it there, not touching his canvas. Brian saw the instrument start to shake and immediately hopped over the crib paraphernalia and place himself behind the boy. Justin leaned back and started to weep. “I…I…just want the baby to see clouds.” Justin turned into Brian’s arms. Brian knew that the tears weren’t because Justin couldn’t complete his vision of the perfect baby room. It was so much more than that. Justin was absolutely terrified that the baby would never know what ‘outside’ was like. He feared that the child would never see the sun or moon. He was even more terrified that it would never breathe fresh air. Justin and Brian had both read the passages in their baby books about a child needing sunlight to thrive. Justin was as pale as a ghost. Brian loved his skin, but it almost had a translucent effect to it and he knew that wasn’t healthy. In nine months Brian’s body had become pasty white and even though he had a weight bench and treadmill, he’d become skinny and had lost a lot of his muscle. They were both afraid, given the evidence, that their baby would not grow and be healthy the way normal children did. They knew that at some point their family would be moved to another location, a farm of some kind in the middle of nowhere. But that wasn’t good enough for Brian. He wanted to get his lover and his child out of this mess. “Hey, baby calm down it’s okay.” Brian ran his hands up and down Justin’s back. “Why don’t you let me paint the clouds and you stick to the mural of the park.” Justin sniffled and looked up at Brian. Tears quivered in his blue eyes, making Brian’s own eyes sting with them. “All you have to do is just sponge lightly. I can do the sunburst around the light after the baby is born.” Brian brushed the backs of his fingers against Justin’s pouty lips. He then turned the boy around and wrapped his long arms around his lover, his hands resting on the large stomach. He could feel the baby moving around, kicking at his hand under the skin. He felt Justin relax further into him as they stared at the almost completed painting. “I just have to finish the details on the swing set and everything is finished.” Justin said quietly. Brian smiled. He really loved the work his lover had done. The entire inside of the room was painted with the colors of the rainbow. And the mural on the far end of the room was an escape to the outside world. The sun setting in the distance, reflecting on the life like, but imaginary pond filled with ducks and toads. Benches and flowers lining the shore. Then the focal point, a jungle gym and a red swing set upon a grassy hill. “It’s amazing Justin.” Brian whispered, his mouth moving to Justin’s ear and placing a kiss on the flesh. “You are amazing.” His lips traveled down the pale neck. “This is amazing. Feeling the baby.” Justin said shyly. He’d dropped the paintbrush to the dust cloth below and joined Brian’s hands on his belly. Brian felt a rush of emotions surge through him. “Yeah it is. I never thought I’d be a father, but feeling the baby, and you like this, I can’t imagine me ever not wanting it now.” Justin smiled to himself. “Are you happy Brian, even though you are stuck here?” Justin asked. He’d become more confident of he and Brian’s relationship since the pregnancy began but he still had his doubts. “I think I’d be happy with you even if I wasn’t. You’re all I want.” Brian said softly. He was feeling a little embarrassed so he hid that by burying his face in Justin’s hair and taking deep breaths. His cock was rock hard in seconds from the smell. Justin turned around to face Brian. His tears and fears forgotten for the moment. “Brian, you are all I really want you too, but, well, I’m really hungry. Why don’t you finish putting together the crib while I go make us some sandwiches.” He suggested. Brian groaned playfully and dropped a gentle kiss on Justin’s nose before stepping back. “Ok. Let me help you around this stuff. Maybe I’ll have the crib finished by the time you get done making lunch.” Justin sniffed. “Yeah right. I think I’d have to make a five course meal for that to happen.” He joked as Brian took his hand and carefully led his body through the pile of lumber. “Please.” Brian said, gently pushing Justin up against the purple door leading out of the baby room. “I’ll have you know that your beautiful round ass has been very distracting.” Brian started to place kisses amongst the exposed skin of Justin’s collar. “Brian, go!” Justin moaned. Then his stomach started to grumble. Brian released his lover, a longing look clouded his dark hazel eyes. “Let me know when you’re done. We can watch the new Disney movie.” Brian smirked. “Oh, shut up, you know you want to watch Lion King 4 just as much as me.” Justin laughed before waddling quickly down the hall to the kitchen. Brian just laughed and turned to face the mess of parts on the floor. “Okay, let’s get down to business.” He said allowed. “No funny stuff. I’ll even read the directions.” He got back down into his earlier position and once again started to study the large white paper that said English, but he was sure had to be some kind of foreign language. An hour later Brian was standing and looking at the crib. He had done it! He had put together his first born’ s crib . Looking at his watch he realized how much time had passed since Justin went to make lunch. A little worried he quickly went out into the living room. “Hey Brian. I was just getting ready to call you. I made spaghetti and garlic bread.” Justin wore an apron that looked like it was bursting at the seams to stretch over his stomach. He also wore the huge familiar smile Brian had used as inspiration for his lover’s nickname. “I thought you were just making some sandwiches.” Brian said smiling back and taking in the display upon the dining table. The aroma’s were making his mouth water. Justin was the most talented person he’d ever met. “It smells delicious.” “That’s because it is.” Justin sad sitting down and quickly shoveling the pasta into his mouth. “I figured it would give you more time to put the crib together.” His words were slurred by the mouth full of food, but Brian understood him. Brian laughed and joined him. “I finished. You’ll have to come see after dinner.” Brian smiled proudly, glad at his accomplishment. He took a big bite. “This is good Justin. I love your cooking.” Brian made sure to always compliment his lover, he knew that having a good self-esteem was important for your pregnant partner. Justin smiled. “Thanks, and if the crib passes my specifications then I might give you some really delicious and hot desert.” Brian felt his dick jolt. “Mmmhmm. You’re such a slut for my cock, you’ll be begging me for desert long before I ever finish dinner I’m sure.” Brian laughed out. Justin blushed and groaned around his food. He really couldn’t deny Brian’s words. He loved Brian’s cock inside him. Ever since they realized he was pregnant the sex had once again become pleasurable at all times for Justin. But that was also because he and Brian had a long talk about their relationship. Flashback: After the positive pregnancy tests. Brian was relaxing on the sofa with Justin curled up next to him. “I can’t believe I’m going to be a Daddy.” He heard Justin whisper for what had to be the hundredth time in the last hour. But it didn’t get old. “Me neither.” He replied, running his fingers through Justin’s blond hair. Justin suddenly sat straight up and looked worriedly at Brian. “I’m sorry Brian.” His voice cracked a little. “I’m really..” Brian pulled Justin closer to him. “Shh… Justin, what are you sorry for?” “I’m the reason that you’re here aren’t I?” Justin said. His eyes started to fill with tears. “We don’t know why we are really here Justin.” Brian said rationally. “But… but.. You keep having to do all these things with me that you wouldn’t normally do and I don’t want you to be unhappy.” Justin said before his tears started to really pour. Brian took Justin’s face in his hands. “I never imagined I’d be a father Justin. But that doesn’t mean that I don’t want to be now. And you don’t make me unhappy.” He brushed the tears from Justin’s cheeks. “It’s amazing how happy I’ve been Justin. I’d be miserable with out you here.” Justin sniffled and wiped at his eyes. “And what if it was another boy here with you?” Brian huffed. “Well, I don’t think that I would fall in love with any of them like I have with you Justin.” Brian looked deep into the pools of blue. “I’ve never been in love with anyone but myself Justin. I was a total asshole before I met you.” “I can’t imagine you like that Brian.” Justin whispered. “Well I was. Being around you, and in this situation has really made me take a step back and look at the person I became. All I ever thought I wanted was friends, money, success and a plethora of anonymous fucking. There’s only one of those things that I miss.” Brian said softly. Justin frowned and got up from the couch and kneeled in front of Brian. “Brian I’ll try to do better I promise. I’m just…I’m kind of sore right now, but I can I can suck you if you want” “Justin!” Brian pulled Justin up into his lap. “I miss my friends Justin. You, you’ve been fucking insatiable. I can barely keep up with you. Okay? I don’t need a fucking plethora of tricks. I don’t want them. I have you. And what do you mean you are sore.” Justin buried his face in his hands. “I wanted to make you happy, I know you said you had lots of sex for fun.” “So what Justin? That was before. Christ! I thought it was because you wanted to make a baby, not because you wanted to make me happy. Now answer my question, how sore are you. I would never want to force you to have sex if you didn’t want it.” Brian felt like an asshole. “Justin, don’t you remember I told you that? I love you, god, I can’t believe I hurt you Justin.” Brian said and hugged Justin to him. “Now let me see?” He said pushing Justin slightly away from him. Justin stood up and started to unbutton his sweats but Brian stopped him. “In the bathroom okay? I don’t think anyone else should see.” Justin wiped his eyes with the backs of his palms and took Brian’s hand as the older man led him to the bathroom. He felt so stupid. Now Brian was going to be angry with him. His body started to shake. Brian led a trembling Justin into the bathroom. When they closed the door he gathered the blond in his arms. “God Justin.” He sighed. Brian buried his face in Justin’s hair and breathed in deeply. “I don’t want you for sex. I like having sex with you, but that’s not all okay?” He drew back and looked at his lover’s wide eyes. “Okay?” Justin nodded his head in accordance but his eyes still showed confusion. Brian didn’t miss it for a second. “I don’t need sex as my primary source of fun, or to keep me happy. You showed me that Justin. The first month when we would play games and watch movies, or just sit and talk, that became fun. Not that I don’t like fucking you, but I miss making love with you. I don’t know what happened that made you think that all I wanted was sex Justin. I certainly don’t know what made you continue to do it if it was hurting you.” Brian heard his own voice falter and took a deep breath. “Did you ever like it Justin?”
