Moments In Captivity Chapter 4 You Only Need Two To Party (This takes place after A Captivating Coupling Ch.16 ) “Brian, you are the most amazing man in the world!” Justin said as he came out of his bedroom and through the hoards of streamers he’d set up leading from the hallway and into the living room. Brian actually blushed. “Surprise!” Brian said holding his arms out and waving his hands around a little. The living room was decorated with blue and pink streamers and balloons. There was a sheet cake that Justin had smelled Brian baking and had his mouth salivating for the last three hours while he was confined to their room so Brian could get his surprise ready. He’d had to call Brian back there to lead him into the bathroom to pee a few times since Brian insisted that he couldn’t peak even down the hall. And now that Justin knew why the three hours he spent drawing definitely seemed more than worth it. He never imagined Brian to ever doing something like this. Justin waddled up to Brian and leaned in to hug him, both of their bellies got in the way and they laughed as they bumped against each other. “I love this Brian.” Justin said drawing back to take the room in. “This is a baby shower?” He asked. Brian smiled. “Yeah, I know it’s just me and you, but we can pretend we have our family with us.” Brian said softly. “You only need two to make it a party.” He said a little more cheerfully. “How’s that?” Justin said. “Not that I don’t love being just me and you.” Brian led Justin over to the table where there were a myriad of presents behind the cake and even some on the other chairs and the floor. “I picked out things from the catalogues that I thought they’d get you. I wasn’t quite sure about your mom and dad but I tried.” Justin felt tears come to his eyes when he looked at the beautiful display Brian had gone into so much trouble to set up. Hearing Brian’s words made him loose a few of those tears. “Hey.” Brian said tilting Justin’s chin up. “I know it’s a baby shower, but I don’t think that means showers of tears.” He said trying to make Justin laugh. It worked. Justin laughed out loud and dried his eyes smiling up at the man he loved so desperately. “I know… it’s just, we don’t ever talk about them. And when you do, it makes me realize how much I miss my mommy and daddy.” Justin told him. Brian frowned. “Well, you don’t have to read the cards then, I mean… you can just pretend that they are all from me. They really are anyway.” Brian said hopefully. Justin shook his head. “It’s not that Brian. I love what you’ve done.” He sat down on one of the chairs and took Brian’s hand to make him sit beside him. “I love that you want to do this for me and Be. I just feel like… well, we never talk about any of them. And I know I ask a lot of questions about your friends and family out there and it’s painful for you to talk about them.” Brian squeezed Justin’s hand in his. “I know and that’s why I wanted to do this. That way, when you open them, I can tell you a little about them.” “I don’t want you to do anything that will upset you Brian.” Justin moved their hands from his lap to Brian’s stomach. “I know that the baby can feel that stress so…” “Justin.” Brian interrupted. “I really think I’m okay to talk about them. I mean, I’ve told you a lot about outside, except of the stuff that really matters. Because they are my family.” He leaned into Justin ear to whisper. “When we get out of here.” Then louder. “I don’t want you to not know them. I’ve spent too long here with you, trying my hardest not to think of them because I thought it would hurt less, I would miss them less if I didn’t. But then I got to that point in your Journal about when it was that you forgot the way your..” Brian felt his eyes tear but pushed them back and went on. “You forgot the way your mom said your name when she kissed you goodnight. And I don’t want you to forget anything else. Or me. I want to talk about them because I would hate to think that they have forgotten us. And that wasn’t right of me to have done to you.” Justin leaned in to hug Brian and kissed the side of his neck. “I love you so much Brian. You’re so brave. I’m sure that no one has forgotten you.” Brian leaned his head down and kissed his blond softly and looked him right in the eyes. “And no one could have forgotten you.” Justin nodded his head and looked back at the table. “I love that you put some of those baby blocks we got on the cake.” Justin tried to sound happier. Brian wiped at his own tears. “Yeah, well, I tried to write with that icing gel but it didn’t work out, so I put them on top of where I messed up.” He said sheepishly. “It looks great Brian.” Justin said. “Can we have a piece before I start with the presents?” Brian looked down at the cake and heard his own stomach growl. “Definitely.” He said as he grabbed the knife and cut himself and Justin both big pieces of the chocolate cake. He went to the kitchen and poured them two glasses of milk. The only sounds you could hear in the apartment was the moaning of delight as each of the pregnant men ate every bite of the dessert and ended up licking their plates clean. “God, that was so good.” Justin said swallowing his last drink of milk. Brian nodded his head and put his own empty glass down before turning to Justin and licking off the milk mustache his lover had, much to the delight of them both. “You’re making me hard Brian.” Justin moaned out when Brian started to nip and lick at his lips and chin. Brian drew back and reached over to get the first gift bag. “Okay, then. I’ll save that present for later.” He told Justin as he adjusted himself with his other hand. Justin smirked and reached bellow his belly to touch at his twitching cock. Just to soothe it a little through the fabric of his sweat pants. But, once he started he didn’t want to stop. Brian cleared his throat. “Seriously Justin. This is a baby shower, you are being rather inappropriate.” Brian said with a laugh. Justin popped his eyes open and took his hand of his dick. “Yeah, well not really if you consider how the baby was made and all.” Brian smirked and for a brief moment the memory of him explaining the ‘facts of life’ to Justin, resurfaced in his mind. The boy had matured in so many ways because of him, and he knew he had because of Justin. Justin looked at the pink bag and looked at the small tag. “From Aunt Cynthia.” He read aloud. “That’s your editor right?” Brian smiled his thoughts coming back to the present. “Yeah, but she’s a friend too.” Justin dug into the bag and took the blue tissue paper out of the way. He reached his hand in and came out with a heavy stack of book tied together with blue ribbon. “Oh, Brian this is so sweet.” He said as he looked at each one. “I got all the ones they had in that Disney catalogue, I figured you’d want to start their Disney education as quickly as you could. And well, Cynthia was a big fan of Disney too. She’d kill me for telling you this, but she had an infatuation with Tinker bell and those princesses. She even had her master bath done in Princess stuff.” He said laughing. Justin put the books down beside the table and reached for another bag and read the tag. “From the Bruckners? That’s Michael, Ben and I forgot their kids’ names.” Justin said sheepishly. “Hunter and Jessica.” Brian told him. “Don’t worry about it. I have a big family; all I have to remember about yours is Jennifer and Craig Taylor. Oh, and your mom’s sister Madeline right?” “Yeah.” Justin said softly and then dug into the bag pulling out a varied collection of comic books. He looked at Brian with a questioning glance as he flipped through them. “Mikey owns a comic book store, he loves them. Knows every last thing about comics.” Brian’s face lit up as he talked about his best friend. “When we were kids and things were shitty we’d hole up in his bedroom and read them for hours, pretending we had all the super powers they did. There’s more in there.” He pointed back to the bag as Justin put the comic books on top of the books from Cynthia. Justin pulled out a Buddha statue. Brian explained. “Ben, well, I call him Zen Ben. He’s really into all that. He told me something once that I’ve always tried to carry with me. Even if I didn’t always follow it. The philosophy is a good one.” He cleared his throat. “If a person releases their attachment to desire and the self, they can attain Nirvana. This is a state of liberation and freedom from suffering.” Justin laughed and touched the little black belly on the statue. “He kind of looks like me right now.” He said. Brian laughed to. “Actually, remember how I told you that people think if you rub a pregnant person’s belly it gives you good luck?” Justin nodded his head so Brian went on. “Well, that comes from the Buddha statues. If you rub his belly it’s supposed to bring luck and prosperity.” Brian looked down at his own belly that was getting bigger and bigger every day. He put his hand down and rubbed it. Justin smiled and rubbed his own before doing the same to the statue before putting it beside the other gifts. “It seems kind of silly, but who could ever have too much luck?” “Considering where we are, definitely not us.” Brian added, his tone a little sad. “There are only big ones left now.” Justin said excitedly. He grabbed the one that had two stacked presents tied with ribbon around them and slid them over. Brian looked over and smiled. “Go for it babe!” Brian said as Justin leaned over and looked at the nametag on the gift wrapped in Winnie The Pooh baby paper. “From Ted and Blake.” Justin said bringing the present in front of his knees, in between himself and Brian. He unwrapped the paper. “Oh, Brian!” He said excitedly. “A camera!” “It’s not just any kind of camera.” Brian said. “This one you don’t need film, it’s digital, kind of like a video camera.” He pointed to the picture on the back of the box that showed the LCD screen. “You can see what you took with this screen here and then you we can plug into the computer and print them out.” “That’s so cool Brian. I love it!” Justin said kissing Brian’s face. “You’ll have to teach me how it works.” “I’m sure if you read the directions you can figure it out better than I can.” Brian told him. “You’re the one that figured out those computer programs for the pregnancy stuff. I still get confused no matter how many times you show me how it works.” He added. “I still am not sure if I even believe the thing.” Justin laughed. “Brian, we’ve weighed you, measured you and we have listed every last detail about how you’re feeling and when it took place. It may be a little off, but I’m pretty sure it isn’t far off.” Brian looked down at his big tummy. “I just can’t believe that I’m almost done with my fifth month.” He put his hands on his stomach, the feeling strange inside him. “It’s like I have a soccer ball inside me.” Justin smiled. “Try your six month Brian. According to the chart you’re 24 weeks along today!” Justin yelled excitedly and put his hand on top of Brian’s. “Well all the more reason why you need to figure out how that thing works, I wouldn’t be able to keep track of all that tech talk.” Brian dropped the subject because he was still very scared and uncomfortable when it came to his pregnancy. More worried than he was about Justin’s because of what the fetus had to endure before they’d even realized he was pregnant. He really just wanted to focus on Justin today. He would worry about himself later. “The only kind of camera I know how to use is one with film kiddo.” “So why is this present from Ted and Blake?” Justin sensing Brian’s fears surfacing and realizing the change in subject. “Well, actually that would be from Blake. The other one I think is definitely one Ted would have picked out. But I picked out this to be from Blake because he’s a model turned photographer. That dirty blond on the cover of that book series of mine is Blake. That’s how we met.” Brian told him. “And then I introduced him to Ted, and for some reason it was love at first site.” Brian joked. Justin hit Brian lightly on the arm. “You are such a romantic Brian.” He teased. “I wondered why you got all flustered when I told you I thought he was hot.” “I did not!” Brian said. “You did too Brian.” Justin laughed at the blush spreading across Brian’s cheeks. “But, that’s okay. Cause it’s one of the many reasons why I keep falling in love with you.” Justin leaned in close and buried his head next to Brian’s chest. Brian brought his hand up to play with Justin’s newly trimmed locks. “And you call me the romantic, that had to have been the cheesiest thing I’ve ever heard.” He groaned. “And possibly the sweetest too.” He added in a softer voice. Justin placed a kiss over Brian’s heart and lifted his head up. “I love you Brian. And I think you forget that I didn’t know anything about romance or love until there was you.” Brian chuckled. “You mean watching all those Disney movies didn’t teach you anything, this whole time?” He smiled. Justin smirked and then his face turned serious. “You know as well as I that I didn’t have the slightest inclination on what being in love really meant until that night we made love for the first time.” Brian was still blushing. “I just gave you a rim job and fucked your brains out.” He said trying his last go at nonchalance. Justin wasn’t swayed though. “It was love to me.” He told Brian, his blue eyes looking into hazel ones, seeing the same love his shone reflected back at him and then sealed with an affirming kiss that made his toes curl. Brian pulled back. “Now, let’s open up the rest of your gifts so I can open up mine later.” He leered at the sexually dazed blond for a moment before reaching down and ripping a tear in the paper covering the large box. Justin groaned a little, shifting his hard cock with one hand and then dove in to help Brian rid the box of what was left of the paper. Brian pulled back when it was uncovered and watched for Justin’s expression. “I used to play with one of these in the dentist office!” Justin said. “You did?” Brian questioned, when he’d seen this in the Toy’s R Us catalogue he actually thought it was kind of primitive. But then he’d read that it was “Parent’s” magazine’s toy of the year, and he knew exactly who would give his child something like that. “They didn’t make those when I was a kid.” Justin turned the box around and looked at all the pictures of the different sides of the cube. “Well, they didn’t have these exactly. This one is a whole lot nicer! And I could definitely see why Ted would have picked this out.” “You do?” Brian smiled. “Of course!” Justin said. “It says here it builds your child’s coordination, problem solving and math skills. Ted’s your accountant so that was sort of a no-brainier.” Brian laughed. “Well, before you open that up and start playing with it yourself,” Justin glared at him a little but smiled, both of them knowing they’d be playing with it together. “Open up the other ones.” Brian said. Justin pushed the box and camera aside and grabbed for another large present placed on the floor, this one was wrapped in paper that had pink and blue baby bottles all over it. Inside he was secretly thrilled that Brian had gone to the trouble picking each of them out. He stopped himself from cooing over them though, knowing how embarrassed Brian would be, also knowing with as hormonal as the brunet was acting, he’d likely get angry with him and go sulk in the bedroom for the rest of the day. He looked at the name sticker on the corner. “From Debbie and Carl.” He read and then proceeded to tear at the paper. Brian joined him again this time, both of them laughing as they tried to get the gift revealed. Even though Brian knew what the gifts were, the anticipation was still there; just waiting to see what Justin would think of each item was more than half of the fun. “Ooooh it’s the little Pooh Bear swing I wanted.” Justin smiled. “Now, why is it from Debbie and Carl?” Justin asked. He really loved Winnie The Pooh but knew that Brian didn’t share the enthusiasm for it. “Well, Debbie and Carl had gotten Jenny, Tyler, and Jessica one sort of like it when they were born and I think she got Emmett one for his baby too.” Brian told him, trying not to think about the fact that he’d never gotten to see Emmett’s child. “So, I’m pretty sure that it’s what they would’ve gotten for us too. I actually got two of them, the other one’s in the hall closet; I figured we’ll probably end up needing two of everything.” Brian said softly. “They may not be twins, but they’ll be so close in age I’m sure it will seem that way.” “You always think of everything Brian. I really do love you.” Justin kissed Brian’s cheek again and went to grab for one of the bagged presents. “From Grandpa Vic.” Justin read. “He’s Debbie’s brother, the man who was like a father to you right?” He asked. Brian nodded with no further explanation than the watery gaze he gave his lover at the mention of the man’s name. He had a feeling that Vic wasn’t alive anymore, but he didn’t want to tell Justin that. Justin opened the large gift bag and started to pull out numerous items and placing them on the table. “Wow.” He said once he looked at them all. “Vic got all these “Baby Einstein” videos for Mikey’s Jessica. He swore that it helps develop brain activity and he loved sitting down and watching them with them, and he’d read the books to her when they spent the night at his house for the night.” Brian smiled softly at the memory. “He told me he couldn’t wait to do that with my kids and wished I’d settle down sometime soon.” Justin gave Brian a one-arm hug. “Well, when, you know when happens, he can do just that.” He said before collecting the items and putting them back in the bag and setting them aside. While he did that, Brian grabbed another large bag from the table and put it at Justin’s feet. “This one’s going to be a little weird, but I’ll explain.” Justin gave him a funny look and looked at the green tag. “From Emmett and Drew Boyd.” He read before taking the tissue out and then reaching in and pulling out two teddy bears that had football helmets and jerseys on them, with the last name Boyd printed on the backs. “Cute.” He commented and then went back to pull out a bunch of Tupperware containers and then a box with a food processor. He looked at Brian completely confused. “Are Emmett and Drew health freaks and athletes?” He asked. “Emmett no!” Brian said. “Far from it. But he is a chef and I know that he said he was going to make all of his kid’s baby foods fresh and I thought if you wanted that would be a good idea for us to do the same, it’d be a lot healthier than sending for that canned stuff. Isn’t that what all the books said?” “Oh, yeah, definitely Brian.” Justin said. “And I’m guessing that Drew Boyd is a football player? Is that right?” “Yeah, I found those in that NFL book, and knew instantly that it’s something that Drew would get his kid and ours.” Brian laughed. “Now let’s keep going.” Brian told his blond getting up to help him move the large Mickey Mouse papered box toward them both. “From Lindsay and Melanie.” The blond read the card. “I’m so excited!” He proclaimed much to Brian’s matching joy. Justin was grinning from ear to ear as he ripped away the paper. “Oh!” He said excitedly. “It’s the cutest highchair ever!” He exclaimed. Brian wasn’t sure how highchairs could be cute, but he stopped himself from saying that and just smiled. “Well, it matches the swings.” Brian told him. “I got two of those two and it did say something about them reclining so you can even put them in them when they are smaller.” Justin’s grin didn’t fade one bit. “Of course it also matches the bassinette’s and the extra linens I picked out for them. I mean, I didn’t want them to get bored and all the “Sincerely Pooh” stuff really can mix and match with all the green and yellow stuff we already have.” Brian laughed. “Really Justin, you are going to have to allow our children to wear some things that aren’t Pooh at some point.” Justin scoffed. “I have no problem with all those underclothes being boring Brian. But I want to make sure everything they put on them is exceptionally adorable.” Brian laughed. “There is no way in hell that designer baby cloths are boring Justin.” “Well, they are.” Justin said firmly. “But I suppose that we’ll make such cute babies that whatever they put on will be adorable too. Now, tell me why the high chairs are from Lindsay and Melanie. Is that what they bough your friends babies? Brian laughed. “Oh, no.” He said. “This gift is perhaps the most simple.” Justin stared at him waiting for an answer. “They are the munchers.” Justin yelled out a laugh. “Brian that’s horrible!” He explained. “Hilarious, but horrible! Isn’t there anything that would describe their relationship with you to me than you making fun of them?” Justin still laughed, his hands holding onto his huge belly. Brian started laughing too. “No, there really isn’t a thing. Cause well, that seems like all we ever did. Trade insults back and forth. It was fun.” He assured the blond. Justin stopped laughing a little and crinkled his nose. “I guess I won’t understand until I meet them. I really can’t wait until I do.” Justin said bringing Brian into his embrace. Brian held on. “Me neither.” He pulled back. “We’re not done. You’ve got one last present but it’s in the nursery.” He stood up and pulled his lover with him. Brian opened the nursery door and led Justin inside. He watched as Justin looked around the room trying to see if there was anything different. “Go look in the closet.” Brian prompted. Justin walked as quickly as he could and flung open the wooden doors. “Eeeek!” He squealed in happiness. “I can’t believe you Brian!” Justin said happily as he ran his fingers up and down the racks of clothing and looking into the hanging bins. “It’s not all Winnie The Pooh, but I got every neutral Pooh Bear thing I could find in all the catalogues. And added a bit of some designer stuff, that I think is ‘adorable’.” Brian walked up behind Justin and put his arms around him. Justin bounced around and peppered kisses all over Brian’s face. “This is from you?” He asked. Brian shook his head. “No, I thought, that this would be something your mom and dad would do. You always said that your closets were always filled with clothes, and sometimes you’d grow out of them before you ever wore them. You said your Dad had just as big of a closet full of clothes as your mom and you loved when they’d let you help them pick out their clothes for the day.” Brian recited the memory he’d been told as best as he could. “There should be enough booties, hats, socks and outfits to last the babies for a year I think.” Justin hugged Brian as tight as he could with out hurting either of them. “I love you so much. You have no idea how much today has meant for me Brian. I don’t know if I’ll ever be able to do the same so perfectly for you.” Brian buried his nose in Justin’s hair and smelled the sweet scent. “It was for me to you know. They are my babies too, and I want to take care of them as much as I can. You’re my family now.” Justin felt his eyes hot with tears of joy and sadness spill over onto Brian’s t-shirt. “We’ll find our other one too.” He said. “They haven’t forgotten about us. They haven’t.” Brian held Justin to him, his emotions running wild too. “I hope not.” He whispered too quiet for Justin to hear him.
