Justin and Brian were sitting in the loft on the couch. Brian had gotten off of work an hour before, and had picked Justin up from Emmett's. It was unspoken that Justin would be spending the night with him.
"You and Daphne have a good time today?" questioned Brian.
Justin nodded. It was fun. We went to the GLC to look at some of the artwork. Then we went to Burger King. Justin slowly signed. Although Brian had was picking signing up fast, he was still learning.
"Great," Brian signed as well as spoke. It had been a month since Justin and Brian had met. And, Justin was spending more time at the loft then he was at Emmett's. Brian was still scared of what was happening, but he found that he was also excited. He had never felt for anyone what he felt for the blonde, and he found himself enjoying the feelings.
Now if he could just get Michael to straighten his ass up. What was it going to take? 'He's already ruined his relationship!,' Brian thought. He was starting to think that Michael wasn't the person he had always thought that he was. Well, Michael was going to be sorry if he forced Brian to choose. Justin would win hands down.
Brian heard someone ringing the intercom and went to see who it was. "Yeah?"
"Brian, it's Ben."
"C'mon up," Brian said as he pushed the button to unlock the front door. A few minutes later Ben was knocking on the loft door. Brian opened the door and let Ben enter.
Justin waved and Brian offered him a seat. "What's up?" Brian asked.
Making sure that Justin was able to read his lips, Ben spoke. "I just came by to tell you guys that I was leaving. I wanted to say goodbye."
Brian was surprised. "Leaving?"
Ben nodded. "Yeah. I got offered a chance to go to a Buddist monastery in Tibet for six months. I was going to turn it down, but since Michael and I are over, I'm gonna go."
"Well, it's too bad about you and Michael," Brian said.
Ben just gave a slight nod and shrugged. "These things happen. I'm sorry about what he's said to you guys. Michael's turned into someone that I don't even want to know."
All Brian could do was nod in agreement. "So, have you told everyone else?"
"Yeah. Debbie was very vocal in voicing her displeasure."
"Isn't she always?" Brian asked with a smirk.
Ben chuckled. "Yeah. Well, I'd best be going. I have an early flight in the morning." Brian and Justin both shook his hand, and watched as Ben exited the loft and shut the door. Brian sighed. Michael had just fucked up the best thing to happen to him. But, for some reason, Brian couldn't find it in his heart to feel any sympathy.
Brian turned to Justin and asked, 'Are you hungry?"
Justin's eyes darkened in arousal. Not for food. I'm wanting some Brian Kinney loving.
Brian smirked and cocked an eyebrow. "Oh really? I think that can be arranged." Brian followed the blonde into the bed room, hastily removing his clothes.
Jennifer knew that she had to find a way to warn Justin. Craig had left that morning, heading for Pittsburgh. He was driving. He had told her that it would be better, that way Justin wouldn't be able to make a scene at the airport or bus station.
She knew that it would take him at least a couple of days to reach Justin. Sighing, she sat down on her son's bed, looking around the room. She had to... Her eyes landed on the open closet. Underneath a pile of blankets, on the top shelf, she could see the end of a black box peaking out.
She walked to the closet and managed to get the box down. Opening it she saw dozens of letters and a few pictures. Looking at the pictures, she saw a flamboyantly dressed man. He looked familiar. Looking at the letters, she saw the name; Emmett Honeycutt. Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
The light bulb went on. That was where he was! Who he was with! Emmett, his cousin. They had always been close. Grabbing the box, she hurried to the phone. An hour later, her and Molly were in a cab heading to the airport. They were taking a redeye flight to Pittsburgh. She had to warn her son about Craig before he arrived. She found herself slightly smiling as she thought about her beating him there. He wasn't getting his hands back on Justin. Of that, she was damn certain!
