Brian listened to the even breathing of the young man lying in his arms. He didn’t know if what he was doing was wise he only knew it felt right. Justin felt right. All he knew was he couldn’t leave New York without him. He and Justin would be starting a new life together. Other than his college roommate Justin would be the first man he’d ever shared a home with. He waited for the panic to set in. It didn’t. Yes, he was a little nervous thinking of all the adjustments he’d have to make to his life and the adjustments that Justin would be making but he knew this was the right thing…for both of them. He mentally went down a list of things he’d have to do. He needed to secure another plane reservation for this evening or at least first thing in the morning. He had to get Cynthia to add Justin’s name to his priority list. He needed to change his home telephone number too many tricks had it. He’d need to get the spare key from Mikey. He couldn’t have Mikey stopping over when ever he wanted anymore. He would have to get Justin some type of transportation. He didn’t want him negotiating on the bus system. The most important was introducing him to Gus and the family. Of everything he though of he knew that would be the most difficult. He added a few more things to the list like adding Justin’s name as an authorized user on his credit cards, adding his name to the home security company, placing his name on the mailbox and a few other miscellaneous moving details. He looked down at the beautiful young man sleeping peacefully. He looked so young. He was 19 years old. He said he’d be 20 in a couple of months. Brian brushed the soft blonde hair from his forehead. Their living together would be an adjustment. He knew it was an adjustment he was willing to make. He gently moved Justin’s head from his chest and eased it on the pillow. He covered his slight body as he stepped out of bed. Brian reached down and pulled on his jeans, walked into the main area of the suite, grabbed a beer from the bar and went to the armoire in the sitting area that held the computer station. He sat down and pulled up the ad campaign he was working on. He sipped on the beer as he looked at the mock-ups. There was just something missing and he couldn’t put his fingers on it. Until he could figure it out he worked on the verbal pitch and decided to come back to the visual presentation later. Justin woke up because he didn’t feel the warm hard body next to him. He rubbed his eyes and sat up in bed. He saw a light coming from the sitting area. He stood up, stretched, grabbed the navy blue silk robe lying across the end of the bed and slipped it on. The hem came to his ankles. He smiled on Brian’s long frame he knew it probably only came a little below the knee. He padded out in the sitting area. He spotted Brian working on the computer. He walked over and wrapped his arms around his neck leaning his body against Brian’s back. He kissed Brian’s thick chestnut hair. Brian stopped typing on the computer his right hand coming up to graze Justin’s cheek. “What are you doing up?” He pulled Justin around the chair and across his lap. He kissed him lightly on the lips. “I missed you,” Justin said honestly. That brought a smile to Brian’s face. “I need to work on this presentation. Why don’t you lie back down for a while? It’s barely 5:00 a.m.” Justin snuggled closer to Brian, “What type of presentation are you working on?” Justin was just beginning to realize he didn’t know anything about what Brian did for a living. Justin recognized the program Brian was using. It was one of the more advanced visual arts programs with a stylus pen for drawing. “I’m pitching this ad campaign later today and the art work is for shit.” “You work in advertising?” Justin asked. “Yeah, I’m a partner at Vanguard.” “Wow! Aren’t you a little young to be a partner?” “Yeah, but I work hard and I bring in the big bucks for the agency. Vance, the senior partner, knows that.” Brian affectionately tweaked Justin’s nose and was rewarded with his bright smile, “As much as I’d like to come back to bed and hold you I have some more work to do and *you* Blondie, are a distraction,” he said seriously. If someone else had called him Blondie, Justin would have bristled. Brian made it sound like and endearment. “So, what’s the problem with your presentation?” Brian didn’t usually talk about his work but he was in a mellow mood, or maybe it was all the fucking had mellowed him out,” This presentation is for shit. The verbal part isn’t a problem. I have a gift for gab. I can sell anything. It’s just that these mock-ups aren’t jumping out at me. They’re missing something.” Justin turned around and looked at the artwork on the screen. He tilted his head to the side as he studied the mock up slides. ”Well, the first thing is the color, Bri.” Justin said. Brian loved the sound of the shorten version on his lips. Lindz was the only other person that had ever called him Bri. He liked it more coming from Justin’s lips. He relaxed in his chair and watched Justin’s fingers fly across the keyboard. In seconds the blue background was changed to orange. He turned to look at Brian. “Not bad,” Brian admitted. Justin glowed from the small praise. “And let’s change the color and font of the lettering.” He changed the lettering from black to blue. It stood out more against the orange. Justin picked up the stylus pen, “and we need to change some of the background art.” Brian easily lifted Justin and sat him in the chair and stood behind him. Justin looked over his shoulder to smile at Brian and then turned back to the screen and started concentrating on rearranging the artwork on the mock up slides. Brian sat mesmerized as what he wanted started to appear. Justin was amazing his hands quickly sketched images changed color and background colors. As he worked Brian noticed he would occasionally tilt his head to the side or stick his tongue out in concentration. He looked so sexy sitting at the desk. The robe falling off his left shoulder was a perfect contrast to his cool porcelain complexion. Brian wanted to take him back to bed and fuck him but he refrained himself. It would have to wait until later. Brian got another chair and sat next to Justin. He started telling Justin what he wanted and watched amazed as Justin produced it. In less than an hour Justin had changed the artwork on the mock-ups to exactly what Brian needed. When he was finished he turned to look at Brian. “Is that what you want?” He asked a little shy and nervous. He wanted to please Brian. It was important that Brian was pleased with his work. Brian looked at him totally in awe of his talent. “Justin as soon as we get to the Pitts I want you in art school. This is fucking amazing. You are amazing.” Justin beamed from the praise. Brian reached over and tapped a few more buttons e-mailing all the information to Cynthia with instructions to have it printed up and ready for the meeting tomorrow at 11:00 a.m. After doing that he shut down the computer. He took Justin’s hands and pulled him in his arms. “Thank you. You just may have saved my ass.” Justin smiled running his hand down and cupping Brian’s jean clad ass, “You have such a nice ass. It was my pleasure saving it. Maybe as a reward you’ll let me fuck you again.” “That’s a reward I’ll be more than happy to grant.” Brian leaned down to kiss him. This kiss held none of the raw passion of the kisses they’d shared all night. This was a soft gentle kiss. Justin didn’t realize how lucky he was in receiving it. Brian rarely if ever kissed a man with such gentleness. “Come on let’s get a little rest,” he told Justin. Brian was feeling very confidant about the outcome of the meeting today. Last night he was dreading this meeting but today he couldn’t wait to Glitter and Shine. He looked down at the young man walking to the bed with him. After Justin dropped the robe and they slid under the covers Brian pulled Justin tightly against him. “Justin you are the best decision I’ve made in a long time,” he whispered to him. Justin smiled as he snuggled closer to his lover, “I feel the same way about you.” ------------------ Justin woke a little later and he was again alone in the bed. He stretched, got out of bed, pulled on the silk robe again, took care of his morning hard on, brushed his teeth and went in search of Brian. He found him in the dining room area of the suite. Justin stopped and admired the beautiful elegant man. Brian hadn’t noticed Justin yet. He was talking intensely on his cellular telephone. Justin was able to admire him undisturbed. If he thought that Brian was sexy in jeans, a wife beater and a leather jacket nothing prepared him for the visual impact of Brian in a suit. A perfectly tailored, obviously designer suit. It was navy blue, paired with a light blue shirt and a patterned tie. His hair was perfectly combed and he looked like he’d stepped out of the pages of GQ. Justin was almost breathless looking at him. Brian felt his presence and looked up to lock eyes with him. For a moment Justin was afraid Brian would tell him it had all been a dream or maybe a scam or a decision made in the heat of the moment. He was afraid this expensively dressed; beautiful, powerful man would tell him he had changed his mind and he didn’t want to take Justin with him. Fear had practically immobilized Justin. Brian paused in what he was saying to the person on the other line, smiled a warm welcoming smile and held out his right arm. In a second all the fear vanished. Justin walked into the welcoming embrace. Brian gave him a quick hug, kissed his cheek and pointed to the abundant display of food on the table. Justin tiptoed and kissed Brian on the cheek and settled himself down to eat as Brian continued his conversation. As he helped himself to eggs, bacon, pancakes and juice he listen to Brian’s conversation. The first thing he noticed was Brian’s voice. Gone was the deep husky, sexy, lustful voice of last night. It had been replaced with a deep, powerful and authoritative voice that brooked no arguments. “Cynthia, have the slide show presentation set up in the conference room. And go over the presentation thoroughly. I don’t want any errors. Make sure the contracts are ready, and get that additional seat on first class back to Pittsburgh. Call the front desk and have the limo waiting to pick me up in 20 minutes.” He was quiet for a moment listening to the person he was talking to. “Cynthia I don’t really give a fuck what it takes just make it happen.” He didn’t say good-bye he just pressed the button to end the call. Justin knew Brian was probably a hard taskmaster but he was probably also, generous and fair. Brian slid the telephone in his pocket and took a seat at the table. He poured himself a cup of coffee and added sugar. Justin took notice of how much sugar Brian added to his coffee. He filed the little information away. He wanted to learn as much as possible about Brian’s tastes. He also noticed other than coffee toast and fruit Brian didn’t eat anything else. Justin reached in the pocket of the silk robe and laid the $1000.00 on the table. Brian looked at him. “Last night wasn’t about work. It was about us.” Brian didn’t pick the money up right away. “Yes it was about us. But if you need the money keep it.” Justin swallowed his food, “I’m fine. I have a little money.” Brian didn’t argue. He took the money and replaced it in his wallet. “We leave at 6:00 p.m. tonight. Will that be a problem?” Justin was still so amazed that this was happening. He was actually leaving. Leaving with a man he’d just met yet he was so drawn to. A man he realized he wanted to be with more than anything else in his life. He thought about all he’d have to do before 6:00 p.m. It wasn’t a lot. He would need to return his uniforms to the restaurant and resign, call and disconnect his utilities, alert his landlord he was leaving. The one room apartment he was renting was furnished so he didn’t have to worry about shipping anything. All he had was some clothes, a few sketchbooks, and some cds. Hell, he could probably fit it all in one bag. It took him a few moments to answer. “It shouldn’t be a problem.” Brian slid a business card to him. “My cellular number is on there call me if you need help.” “Brian A. Kinney,” Justin said letting the name roll off his tongue. He realized he liked the sound of Brian’s name. It was solid and powerful. “So your last name is Kinney.” “Just learning the last name of the man you’re leaving with, huh?” Brian teased. Justin smiled, “Everything I needed to know about you I learned last night,” he said. “The rest is just filler.” Brian liked that. And Justin was right. Everything they would learn about each other from this point on would be the filler that would either strengthen or destroy them. “If you need cash or if you catch shit from your landlord about moving without proper notice. Just tell him you’ll pay him through the end of the lease,” Brian advised. “My lease is month to month. I’ve already paid up for the month.” “Good. What about moving van and shipping?” “Not a problem. I don’t’ have much and what I have should fit in about two or three suitcases. I’ll stop off and buy three on the way to my apartment.” “Okay.” Brian tossed him some keys. “What’s that?” Justin asked pointing to the keys. Brian smirked, “If you have to ask then we have a problem.” Justin playfully batted Brian’s arm, “I know what they are. I just don’t know what you are giving them to me for.” “You have a lot to do today. I thought you might need access to a car. Since you rode with me I’m assuming you don’t have one.” “I don’t,” Justin admitted. “I’ve already told the front desk that you will call down when you are ready for the car to be brought around.” Brian looked at his watch. He stood up and pulled Justin in his arms. He brought his lips down firmly against Justin’s. The kiss was hot, sexy and erotic. It was filled with lust and promises of hot, smutty sex. Justin was practically gasping when Brian ended it. “That’s just in case you have doubts about your decision,” Brian told him. “I’ve never been more sure of anything,” Justin breathed. That got him the famous Kinney smile. “I’ve got to go,” Brian told him. “Make sure you are ready to leave at 6:00 p.m. Don’t be late,” he stressed. Justin walked him to the door. “I’ll be ready.” With another lingering kiss Brian was gone. He headed to the shower. He had a lot to do before 6:00 p.m. He smiled and put a little pep in his step. He was about to embark on a whole new life.
