Brian hadn’t seen a lot of Eve since she’d been back in Pittsburgh and that had really pissed him off. He wasn’t sure why. He had just expected some type of fireworks now that she was in the Pitts instead he barely felt a spark. He received constant updates on her. It seemed that everyone in the family was spending time with her but him. She stopped at the Gallery to have lunch with Lindz. Jennifer and Molly had taken her to the Mall to shop for a house warming gift. She, Justin and Daphne had gone to a movie and dinner. Okay so they’d stop off at some college hang out and gotten nachos, peppers and fries but that still could be considered dinner. She’d sat through one of Ben’s lectures on homophobia in America and hung round and went to lunch with him. She served as hostess at a dinner that Emmett and Vic catered. She’d watched Abe for a few hours so Mel could keep her appointment with a hairstylist. Mel may not like Eve but she wasn’t opposed to using her when it was convenient. Eve even stopped by Mikey’s comic book shop. Mikey said she bought a totally Lesbo comic book. That was interesting to know. It gave him an idea of her prey of choice And of course last but never least she’d taken Deb to a health spa for a day of pampering. It was all Deb talked about for over a week. Through the family grapevine, okay Mikey, he learned she had been job hunting or at least Mikey thought she was job hunting. As expected she was spending a lot of time with Vic. To be exact Mikey said Vic had spent a week at her home to help her settle in. Occasionally Rodney would join them. Eve was even spending time with Rodney and he had yet to see her. Brian had stopped to see Gus yesterday and Gus’ every other word was about *Eve.* Mel stopped by her office to pick up paperwork in preparation of returning full time and had ran late consulting on a case. She called and told Lindz she wasn’t able to pick up Gus from the daycare. Abe was with the babysitter. Lindz called Brian’s office and Cynthia told her that he was in Philadelphia with a client, Justin was in class, Emmett, Ted and Vic were setting up for a dinner and Deb couldn‘t leave the diner. Eve was at the diner and used Deb‘s car to pick up Gus. She’d taken Gus back to the diner and in Gus’ words; *Me and Eve play together. Then Justin come and play too. Eve’s my friend. She pretty Da da.* His son had a major crush on Eve and was fast on his way to being hetero. That’s what happened when you let two Munchers raise a son. The only contact he had with Eve was the e-mails she sent to him each night. They started the night of her Welcome Home dinner. He got home checked his e-mail and there was one from Eve. It simply said; *Good night. Have a good sleep.* Not sure how to respond Brian had sent an e-mail stating: *I will. You to.* Each night about 11:00 p.m. he knew if he checked his e-mail he’d find one from her. It had become their little nightly routine. For some reason it was comforting to him to know that an e-mail from Eve would be there every night. Still he was beginning to feel slighted. Eve had spent some one on one time with everyone but him. He felt completely left out. He didn’t particularly like the feeling. Other than that Brian’s business life couldn’t have been better. Of course with the three new campaigns he was busy. He had finally convinced Stockwell to let Vanguard represent him. He knew that was not going to go over well with the *family.* but this was business. Brian admittd he did not agree with many of Stockwell’s views but Stockwell was going to be his ticket out of Pittsburgh and into New York. He thought about moving to New York and leaving Justin in Pittsburgh. He knew how hard that would be. He’d just have to assure that by the time he was ready to leave for New York Justin would be so in love with him again that he’d follow him anywhere. Then of course there was the Five star restaurant chain campaign he’d signed on last month and the radio station. Added to the other ad campaigns he was responsible for delivering *glitter and shine* he had a full plate. The radio station was his newest client. WPITT’s station director had asked that he attend the grand opening of Cocks&Tails tonight. The Station's new DJ was doing a guest appearance. The club had barely managed to get their license. They had gotten it only a week before Stockwell went on his clean up the Gay Sex Club’s rampage. ---------------------------------------- Brian leaned on the bar and watched the raised stage at the far end of the club. The official Cocks&Tails Dancers gyrated to the pumping dance music. There was nothing really special about the dancers. Young, attractive, half dressed buffed bodies, glistening with oil, moving to the beat of music. He’d seen the same at just about every Gay club on the strip. The club was filled to capacity tonight. He didn’t know if it was due to the free cover charge, the lure of prizes being given out or meeting the new DJ. The Station had sent guest passes for the grand opening to his office. He’d invited Mikey, Ben, Ted and Emmett. He’d also given Justin two passes. He really hoped Justin didn’t bring *Ian.* He'd sent Eve an e-mail to ask her if she'd be interested in attending. After the talk with Lindz he’d thought it would be a good idea if she got out of the house to have a little fun. He had even volunteered to pick her up. When he’d arrived Mel had been her usual *bitchy* self. She claimed to be too tired to watch Gus. That he was too active and she was just so tired after watching Abe all day. She really couldn’t deal with Gus. Although it was 10:30 p.m. when he picked up Lindz and the active child was fast asleep. After Brian had suggested calling Deb over to watch Gus, Mel relented and decided she could watch him. It had pissed him off that they had to go through the drama. He had never been happier to leave their home. Brian didn’t know much about the new WPITT's DJ other than her night time slot was a great hit only second to the station’s morning show. He’d come because he would be setting up a photo shoot for her tomorrow and he needed to know a little about her to be prepared. He already had an image in his mind. He knew that radio DJ’s were hired for their Voices not their looks. WPITT’s competition had a female DJ named *Ashleigh* whose pictures were posted on billboards around Pittsburgh. Brian had taken a few minutes to listen to her radio show. Mostly fluff and sexual innuendos. Her voice was marginal at best. She tried too hard to sound sexy. She really struggled trying for the throaty, husky voice. She sounded fake and unnatural. Brain had to admit she was physically beautiful. A walking life sized Barbie. Big curly blonde hair, Big breast, long legs, a little too thin (at least he thought so), no ass, too much make up, dress too short, too revealing. It left nothing to the imagination. Ashleigh was advertised as the sexiest DJ on the air. Brian had carefully studied the ads for Ashleigh. They were over done. They screamed, shouted and hammered the image of sex, no subtly at all. Brian knew his ad campaign would be more subtle. He wasn’t going to try to out do the Life Sized Barbie Sex Toy Ashleigh was portrayed as but head in a different angle all together. He wanted to do a very down to earth, subtle sensual ad campaign. But first he had to see exactly what he had to work with and then he’d know how to take it from there. Brian pictured WPITT’s newest DJ as a marginally attractive woman in her mid to late 20’s, a little over weight with a great voice and personality. Ty had only told him that she was no beauty but she’d pass. He couldn’t get any other information from him. Brian suspected that Ty had made a pass at the DJ, been shot down and he was now less than complimentary about her appearance. Brian hoped she was at least passable enough in appearance that a lot of makeup and airbrushing would make her look good to the public. Although he‘d promised Ty that he‘d listen to the new DJ’s radio program this week he hadn‘t had a chance. With the new ads for the radio station‘s morning and afternoon crew, trying to come up with ad campaign for that homophobe Stockwell, working on his other ad campaigns, trying to deal with Lindz revelations about her problems with Mel, plus a guy had to get a fuck in here and there, he had forgotten to listen to her radio show. Brian looked around the club again. It was like a lot of Gay Clubs he’d been in albeit this one was larger and cleaner. Their were a mix of Munchers, Homos, Bi’s and Heteros curious about the other side. The club was housed in an restored two-story warehouse. The second story had secluded little seating areas, a small bar and a catwalk that looked down on the dance floor. Lights blinked from beneath the three dance floors. The first floor walls were all mirrors. The first floor had a large bar covering the entire back wall. There was a large stage against the other wall. It had been set up with a few microphones. There were three separate dance floors. The largest dance floor was round in the center of the room. Two smaller rectangular dance floors were situated on either side. Colored lights floated from the ceiling above. There was a mix of male and female sweaty bodies on the dance floor. Brian leaned against the bar checking out the men as they walked by or those on the dance floor. He half listened as Ty rambled on about how uncomfortable he was in a Gay club but the Station Director was adamant that the station reach out to a diverse group. Ty was afraid he’d ruin his image as a hetero stud if it was known he was in a Gay club. If Ty wasn’t enough Mikey was on his other side whining about Mel and how she was going back to work instead of staying at home with Abe. Ben was beside him but seemed to have tuned him out. Brian briefly felt sorry for Ben. He could only imagine how much Ben had to hear living with Mikey. Emmett, Lindz and Ted were on the dance floor where Brian desperately wished he were instead of being sandwiched between a slickster and a whiner. As Brian scanned the club for the hundredth time since arriving his eyes landed on a blonde head making his way through the club. He’d know Justin anywhere. Plus he couldn’t miss Daphne walking next to him. Justin spotted Brian and his Sunshine smile spread across his face as he made his way towards him. Brian stood up straight. Tonight was beginning to look up. Justin was wearing a long sleeved blue ribbed knit shirt a pair of jeans emphasized his small waist and bubble butt. Daphne had on a neon orange mini dress and a pair of matching clunky heels. The color of the dress was loud enough to rival the colors that Deb wore. Brian grimaced Deb would be proud to call Daphne family. Brian watched as heads turned as Justin walked by them. Justin was definitely most Gay men’s wet dream. A few men even tried to get his attention by touching his arm but Justin ignored them. “If it isn’t Justin Taylor - the boy wonder and his sidekick Daphne - the girl wonder,“ Brain teased as Justin squeezed in next to him. Justin playfully punched him in his arm. “Shut up,“ he said smiling at Brian. He lifted Brian’s drink from his hand and took a sip. “Hi Ben, Hi Michael.” Ben returned the greeting Michael only mumbled a response. “Hi, Brian,“ Daphne said shyly. Brain smiled. He wondered how long Daphne’s little crush on him would last. “Hi, Darling,“ He drawled leaning over to kiss her on the cheek. She blushed and smiled. Brian watched Ty look Daphne up and down and gave him a withering glance that told him to back off. Ty took the hint. “I’ll go see what’s taking the little *star* so long to make her appearance,“ he said snidely. “I still don’t see what the big deal is about her. She’s just a nice pair of tits and ass nothing more.“ “Thank you for your opinion Ty. We really wanted to hear it,“ Brian said tersely. Ty had the decency to look embarrassed just before he walked away. “So where is *Ian* tonight?“ Brian asked. Daphne laughed at his mispronunciation of Ethan’s name. She answered the question for Justin, “He was too busy playing his *violin* to attend. I don’t think he listens to anything else.“ From the tone of her voice Brian realized that he had found someone else that was not taken by Ethan the Great Romantic Violinist. “Well not everyone can appreciate true Club music,“ Brian quipped. “We’re going to dance,” Michael whined and dragged Ben to the dance floor. Justin, Daphne and Brain stood at the bar talking. Justin inched closer to Brian now that Ty and Michael were gone. He casually brushed Brian’s arm as they commented on the club, the difference of this club to Babylon. The music lowered and the lights came up in the Club. Emmett, Lindz, Ted, Ben and Michael came back from the dance floor to stand at the bar. A song started playing and Brian turned to Justin. “What’s playing?” Daphne answered, “It’s a little old but it‘s *Where the Party At* by Jagged Edge with Nelly, Jermaine and Bow Wow. “Bow who?” Brian asked totally puzzled. Daphne laughed at his confusion. “Never mind it’s just a great dance song.” The Club DJ's voice came over the intercom to introduce WPITT’s hottest nighttime DJ, the *Night Angel.* The stage lit up the dancers made their way back to the stage with WPITT’S newest DJ gyrating and dancing as she moved to the stage. Brian couldn’t stop the smile that tugged at the corners of his lips. Would she ever fail to amaze him? A round of applause greeted her as she made her way to the stage Ty close behind her. She was waving, throwing kisses at the audience as her body moved and gyrated to the beat of the music. She stopped to dance with the Go-Go dancers. The crowd applauding as she moved. Brian had to give it to her. The girl could move. Smooth, erotic, sensual. She did a dip in front of one of the male dancers the move blatantly sexual and rolled back up. Her movement reminding him of a cobra coming out of it’s basket. She didn’t just shake and gyrate but her entire body moved to the beat of the music. Not only could she bump and grind but her dance steps were flawless and smooth. Brian focused on how the club guests responded to her. They were captivated by her raw genuine sensuality. Like he’d always said she commanded attention. She was wearing a soft stretched knit top in a cream color that hugged her upper body and accentuated her impressive chest. The top met the waistband of a pair of stretch pants in the same cream color that showed off her magnificent ass. She was in a pair of ridiculously high suede heels with a band that tied around her ankles. She wore a necklace made of braided suede adorned with feathers and beads and matching dangling earrings. She knew how to dress to show off her assets but not flaunt them. The music started to fade and the dancers drifted off the stage as Eve continued to slowly move to the lowered music. “Hey it’s Eve!” Justin, Emmett, and Daphne all seemed to shout in unison. “I think we can all see that,” Brian said. Catcall and hoots and hollers greeted her as she made her way to the microphone. Then that whiskey and smoke voice was amplified by the mic she spoke into. “Hello everyone! I’m glad you could come out tonight! I’m Eve Angelique but you can just call me your Night Angel!“ Hoots and hollers met her greeting. “Thought I’d take a little time from my radio show and come hang with all you fabulous, beautiful and fine men and women. I want to welcome you to the Grand Opening of *Cocks&Tails*,“ her seductive voice stressed the name of the club. More hoots and hollers. Brain looked around. The audience was captivated by Eve. He glanced over at Lindz who was practically salivating. “The owners wanted me to express their sincere gratitude that you came out tonight. As you know there will be prizes given out all night. And don’t forget to try out the buffet catered by Emmett and my Daddy, Vic. Let me assure you that the food is delicious. I’m going to be here most of the night and into the morning. I hope to do a little dancing, a lot of drinking and if any of your have any other ideas……I‘m open to suggestions!!!” The audience erupted in laughter and applause. Brian watched her. She was more than alluring, stunning and captivating she was charismatic. A quality that no airbrush or plastic surgery could give. Charisma was a highly prized commodity and Eve was oozing with it. “I’m not going to take too much time talking. You came here to dance not listen to me talk. But if you wanna hear me talk you can do that Monday - Friday from 9:00 p.m. to 2:00 a.m. Call me with your dedications, your song requests and your concerns and issues. My show is all about getting the voice of the listener out there. Now, I’m here tonight to mix and mingle. Before I leave this stage I want to give a shout out to my family tmembers that are here tonight." She turned to look to where they were standing at the bar. "Okay guys wave and let everyone know where you are. Give a warm welcome to my family Justin everybody‘s wet dream, Lindsey don‘t buy a piece of art for your home without conferring with her first, Michael the most knowledgeable man about comics in the State of Pennsylvania, Ben the best professor at Carnegie Mellon, Ted don‘t buy a stock without consulting with him first, Emmett the best caterer in Pittsburgh, Daphne the prettiest college student in the Pitts and last but never, ever least, someone I’m sure you all may know quite intimately,” that caused giggles throughout the club, “man that needs no introduction, The anti-Christ to my Angel the one and only *Brian Kinney*!” Applause, whistles, catcalls, stumping greeted her introductions. Brian raised his glass as hundreds of eyes turned to the bar to look at him. “Now before I get off this stage you know what I have to say. The same thing I say every night, “ if possible Brian thought her voice became lower, deeper more sultry than it already was, “I love chocolate, sex, coffee, men and women and not exactly in that order. And this is how I love them; long, hot, thick, wet, strong, rich, dark, morning, noon and night. I love it when I’m alone. I love to share it with friends, I love it when it’s running down my throat, but mostly I love it when I can get it every night.” Brian smiled. She said everything and nothing at all. Her statement never clarified if she was hetero, muncher or bi. He still didn’t have the answer to her sexual orientation. It bothered him that he even cared one way or the other. He watched her as she walked off the stage and was immediately asked to dance. Brian grabbed Lindz’s hand and pulled her on the dance floor. Justin and Daphne followed behind them. The song that had first announced Eve’s arrival on stage started playing again. *Where the Party At.* at least he knew the answer to that.
