Keeping You a Secre t (This is loosely based after one of my favorite books written by: Julie Anne Peters with the same title. I hope you everyone likes it.
The first time I saw him he was walking down the hallway of school. He was different - no one around this crappy school could ever been so beautiful and confident. I was reaching for my History book when I noticed he had the locker right across from me. He had the most amazing hazel eyes and his hair was the most beautiful brownish gold color I'd ever seen . I was just in awe of him. He closed his locker door and looked me up and down and smirked. I was in complete shock - no one ever noticed me. That's when I noticed his shirt. It said "RU12?" Am I what? That question was bothering me as I watched him disappear into the hallway. I was still in thought when I felt someone come up beside me. Daphne: "Justin, Hello (waves hand in front of him) Earth to Justin." Justin: "Huh..oh, hi Daph.." Daphne: "I've been trying to get your attention for the last 5 minutes and all I get is “Oh, hi Daph”" Justin: (smiles shyly) "I'm sorry." Daphne: "Come on. We are going to be late for class and you can tell me what's got you all spaced." They walked into their history class and that's when Justin saw him. He looked directly in those hazel eyes and he felt his heart begin to race. Daphne: "Justin." Justin: (looks at her) "What.." Daphne: "That's the second time you have done that. What's going on with you today?" Justin: "Um..nothing. Let's go sit down." They walked down the row of desks. Justin took his seat and Daphne sat right in front of him. What he didn't notice was that Brian moved next to the empty seat next to him. Justin's thoughts Have you ever felt that someone was watching you? Well, I feel that way right now. I am not sure what's going on with me every time I see the new guy. I feel my heart race and my body lose its' air supply. I have never felt this way before. As I turn to get Daphne's attention I turn to the side of me and I'm sure why I do but I do. That's when I notice the hazel eyes burn into me and not it's a bad thing. I just don't know what do with it. God, that smile is going to be the death of me... Brian: "Hi." Justin: "Hey" (says with a confidence that he was less than feeling) Brian: "I'm Brian and you are....?" Justin: "Justin..Justin Taylor" Brian: "Nice to met you." Justin: "Did you just start here?" Brian: "Yeah." But before they can finish talking the teacher comes and starts the lesson. Brian's Thoughts I'm sitting in history class not even wanting to be here with the same blond that I saw in the hallway of this place. When I found out that I was moving to Pittsburgh I was less than thrilled. I hated to leave New York but what can I say? Maybe Pittsburgh does have something to add, like the most beautiful boy I'd ever seen. I can't help but want to be close to him. He is everything I would never want but at the same time I can see myself wanting him. Crap..did the bell ring? Justin: "Hey Brian, You know you can go to a different class"(Sunshine smile) I can feel my breath escape from my body. That smile is going to be the death of me..hell Justin Taylor period is going to be the death of me but I honesty couldn't imagine another way to go. Brian: "Right, I knew that. So, where are you off to?" Justin: "Shouldn't I be asking you that question..since you're the new guy?"(The hot new guy...wait what did I just think?) Brian: (smiles) "French...you?" Justin: "Cal..." Justins' thoughts God,what is going on with me? Why am I suddenly sad to be leaving him? Why do I want to kiss him. I should NOT be having these thoughts. Brians' Thoughts I want to kiss him.... Justin: "Well, I'll see you later. " But before either one can say anything Daphne comes over to Justin and kisses him on his cheek Daphne: "Hey Jay..(looks at Brian) Am I interrupting?" Justin: "No, Daphne this is Brian, Brian this Daphne." Daphne: "Nice to meet you." Brian looks confused at Justin because he was sure that Justin was gay..but his gaydar could be wrong but it was never wrong. Justin: "Did you want something, Daph? Daphne: "Yeah, Cover for next period. I'm skipping...please?" Justin: "Sure. Be good" Daphne: "Yeah right.." (kisses Justin on the cheek and Brian) Brian: "Why did you do that?" Daphne: "Because you're hot and I wanted to . Later boys. Play nice Justin."(winks at him) Justin blushes Brian: "Did I miss something?" Justin: "No. I have to get to class" Brian: "Okay, see you later" Justin: "Yeah later." Justin What is going on with me today, I can't stop thinking about Brian, I'm so confused. I wish I had someone to talk to this about but currently I don't. I mean there is Daphne but I don't know if she will understand. I mean how can she if I don't? I just want this day to be over. The bell finally rang and Justin couldn't be more happy that school was over with. He hated that he was always doing what everyone always wanted him to. He was packing up his school bag when he felt someone tap him on the shoulder. Justin: "Yeah" (without turning around) Brian: "I was wondering. Can you give me a ride? " Justin: "Brian?" Brian: (laughs) "Yeah.." Justin finally turns around and his breath hitches when he sees how close their faces are. Brian: (tongue in cheek) "So, can you? " Justin: "Um...yeah sure ..no problem "
