Breathe

The train ride had given Brian time to think, but now, his heart was beating a mile a minute and he was having trouble maintaining his cool demeanor. Taking a deep breath, he forces himself to detach from the situation. Thinking about Justin was making this meeting personal, and doing that would be a costly mistake. No, Brian had to remain detached, uncaring and aloof. He couldn’t show them that he actually cared about Justin and Molly’s well-being. He could do this. He was an ad man. He could do this.
