I liked this very much. I think it’s the unspoken rituals people develop between them which scream intimacy more than overtly romantic gestures…also, I now have a picture of Brian undressing running through my head *smiles happily* In some ways the “undressing” motif can also be seen as Brian shedding his public persona for the moment when it’s just him and Justin…
Author's Response: *smiles* It is -- it's a little moment of domestic expectation that Brian didn't realize he'd grown to rely on, until it wasn't there. And I'm glad to share my images of Brian undressing. For myself I add the cufflinks and such; I have a small obsession with men's fashion, particularly men's fashion accessories like cuff links. So yeah... *grins*
And I also love your interpretation of shedding his public persona. That's quite true as well... :)

I love this - the pacing and way this reads in my head is very rhythmic and sensual. Maybe that's because I just finished a lovely, relaxing bubble bath when I peeked in my email to see you'd posted. Or it could just be you're a fanastic writer with a great sense of timing (in your stories and when posting, apparently!) :D
Now I'll certainly have pleasant dreams :D
So far New Year is off to a wonderful start!
Author's Response: You're far too kind! I'm delighted that you like the story so much. I liked it, though I have no idea where it came from...
*thinks for a second* Wait. Yes I do. A deep adoration of Brian's wardrobe, delight in Gale and a little imagination. THAT'S where it came from! *grins*

Very nicely written! Really enjoyed the imagry and the "sigh" ending...or begining....or whatever
Author's Response: Thank you! I have a little thing for men's fashion and a big thing for Gale, so I had fun with the imagery, too. In fact, I should've been more detailed, in hindsight! I'm glad you liked the ending -- I toyed around with the final phrase, so I'm happy that this one worked. Thanks so much for reviewing!

Author's Response: Fixed it! Thanks so much!
Yeah, sounds like a good New Years resolution, a habit like that, right!?!
