Are all the sex scenes going to be so short ? You had mentioned that this story was not just about the sex, but some would be really good.
Also wondering if they will be at least mostly monogamous in this story.

Author's Response: Sex scenes will vary. I don't want to depend too much on raw smut to carry the novel forward. Been there, done that. I hope to make it much more romantic. Brian and Justin will be very monogamous with the one exception of Steven, their personal bodyguard from here forward. You will learn he needs it to preform his duties well. Author's Response: He he, the hamster was laughing as he dictated this chapter to me and could barely get out the details. Maybe Craig learned his lesson. NOT! Thank you very much for chapter comments that totally rock and make us work hard for you guys. It's always a mystery how 300+ people can read a chapter and maybe two or three clap for the performance. If they were writers they would understand how it feels not to hear from the audience.
Once upon a tiime I was going for a Political Science degree. Those classes will help me make this story interesting.

Craig's spies worked fast. Scary shit. Charles and Louis are adorable grandfathers and very wise. Steven's a doll; I would squeeze him until he couldn't stand it. Then you end with the contract on Brian. OMG!!! What a cliff hanger but I don't have to wait to see what's next.

I'm sure it was no hardship for Brian to follow Justin's instructions. Brain will make a very good adviser, his reputation as being an ass hole will really be a big help. I'm worried that Craigs spies will find out that Emmett is helping Justin. Or try something against Brian's family and friends since killing Brian is no longer an option. Hmmm, that would be one way of deleting Jack and Joan Kinney! I've seen the way your devious mind works, this is going to have more plot twists and turns isn't it? Tell the hampster to keep up the good work.
Author's Response: This is AU so Brian may not be such an asshole but still he must relate to canon in general. Frankly Emmett, and the Kinney's are very small fish in the pond. Hardly worth Craig's attention. More than one reader calls my stories a roller coaster on Meth with no respect for gravity. Nowhere does it say in the writing manual we must only have one ride going at a time :) Thank you very much for being a chapter supporter Yum.

this is shaping up very well. these vampire covens sound sort of like cartels around the world only they are into blood not drugs. will be interesting if jennifer can concieve. if not then here we go again. you have so many twists and turns. can't seem to second guess this story yet. good writing man. found a place to live with 3 other people 2 guys 1 girl. should be interesting. will do til something else comes along. lol
Author's Response: I think it's wise to first have roommates until your salary goes up later, and you get to know the city really well. There is usually a hidden economy for the regulars and a much higher price for the newbies to pay. By having roommates first you get to network and learn who's who so you can later find an affordable place to live. Does that make sense? As to the story we have only begun to stir the pot. My, my. I was beginning to wonder if Jennifer was more closely related to Louis XIX, until you put in the part about him chosing Justin over his son, Craig. Loved that part. So having a male lover isn't against Vampire tradition after all. I can't help but feel sorry for Ben, he is too nice for Michael. Of course that's just my opinion. Love to see how you take this storyline.
PS- I don't trust Craig at all.

I did mention in chapter one that Louis changed his name to Taylor and a father carries the family name. Glad you didn't get lost honey! Actually you found a mistake in my writing. Jennifer did say her family would help but it was Craig's family that came for him. I'll repair that right now. Let's say both sides of the family are on Justin's side. That was my thinking as it happened.
Trusting Craig may be like eating glass. Nothing good can come out of it. Thanks so much for your comments. They're my reward for writing and it keeps the hamster from biting me.

Author's Response: In my story vampires are humans who eat blood, live forever at an age of their choice, and in general are just like humans with a few exceptions. So yes I've changed the rules so to speak for this story. In the first chapter with that French history lesson this was detailed. Thank you for noticing and commenting.

Wow I am so excited to see e new story from you!! I have never read a B/J vampire stories but I will definitely follow this one! You've got me hooked from the first chapter and I am big fan of the vampires' books and movies.
Author's Response: I too am a huge vampire fan and see homoerotica in the male vampire theme everywhere so it blends well with a B/J storyline. You may offically color me totally hooked. This has the foundation to greatly exceed Embraced without question. Usually an author has to develop characters first but we already know the players in QAF so you moved right to the major conflict. That's writing!

Author's Response: My goal is a good plot full of twists and turns as powers come to a head regarding this royal mistake. There will be lovemaking but I don't intend to fill chapter after chapter with endless sex scenes after we establish the new relationship of Brian and Justin. Brian is very much in danger and so is anyone trying to keep him alive as well. I loved the banner for Justin smelling Brian's neck so close to his blood :) Thank you very much for giving this story a chance. It will be be very different than the average vampire tale.

This looks really promising. I loved Embraced and another vampire story from you is something to really look forward to a lot. Author's Response: Thank you for commenting. Yes, this story will be much more real and not crackly if I can help it definitely. I laugh at Embraced today and wonder what was I smoking when I wrote that crazy stuff. Hopefully I've matured as a writer and have a decent story in me to tell. The basic plot is already in mind and it just came to me out of nowhere. The hamster was in a vampire trance and next thing I know we had it. The trick is to tell the story and give the plot justice.
