Well it gets ugly next I'm sure. I hope in the end you have a very painful result for Lane when this is all said and done.
Author's Response: Oh,not to worry - he's going to get his "reward" all right.....(hint, hint...)

I grant thee the drama award of the month :)
Author's Response: Thanks.....I think. Is there a different color ribbon for that? LOL!

The darkness warning was the right thing to do here. I see you can have a very evil streak in your work milady. Reading on for more.....
Author's Response: Yes, it does pop out from time to time - quite a departure from "She's Your Daughter," which is what I'm working on right now, isn't it? - ha!

Oh shit. Now I don't know which brother is alive. He could have easily changed their prison shirts before dumping the body.
Author's Response: I know - I'm so evil, aren't I? Why do you think I specifically didn't mention their names in that chapter? LOL!
Reviewer: JTSecrets (Signed) · Date: February 06, 2011 03:36 AM · On: Love Versus Betrayal
I assume Lane is alive an a real piece of work he is too.
Author's Response: Oh, you've only scratched the surface, my friend. But which brother is worse?? LOL!

Gusess I'll try to read this epic length novel next. Since the average book is 80,000 words; this may be at least two books long soon.
Author's Response: Are you trying to say I don't know when to quit? LOL! You'd be right - ha! Honestly, the way this one's going I have NO clue when I will end it - arrgh!!

It makes sense that both would need therapy. Nicely written!
Author's Response: Thank you, my friend.:) I think since they have supported each other through this whole ordeal, it would only make sense for them to seek help together. Thanks for reading and especially taking the time to review - it is greatly appreciated.

wonderful, wonderful, wonderful chapter. i cried again. that's what your writing(so beautiful) does to me. you are really gifted with the written word. so glad justin will get some help to help him deal with the horror of what happened to him. it will help brian by going too in the long run. lol
Author's Response: Thank you as always, lindc! Sometimes I think I'm moving this story along too slowly, but then I think about the subject matter and just can't move too quickly on it if I want to be realistic about it. I'm glad it moved you. Thanks for leaving the review - I appreciate all of them very much, as well as your faithful readership of my stories.:)

I have been so enthralled by this universe you created. the characters have such depth and even with the changes are very true to the series especially if you consider this is the boys after the finale. The twists and turns kept me up several nights so I will blames you for my lack of sleep :) anxiously awaiting your Happy ending.
Author's Response: Thank you so much for the review, Cydz! Sorry about the lack of sleep part, but I find that very flattering anyway - LOL! And don't worry, it may take me a while to get them completely whole again but they always have a happy ending by the conclusion so it's definitely heading that way. I just want to make sure I do the subject justice because what he went through would really tear at your emotions as well as self-esteem. Glad you're reading it - I'm working on the next chapter right now so it should be up soon. Thanks for taking the time to leave me your comments - it is greatly appreciated.:)

Good for Justin, giving the money to charity is a great way to make some good come from the bad. Can't wait for more.
Author's Response: Hi, Deb! Thanks for the review! Glad you like the story - I'm working on the next chapter of "I Don't" right now; as soon as I get that done, it's onto the next chapter of this one - hope you'll stay tuned!:)

WELL HOW DO I START THIS-NEVER DONE THIS- SOMETHING NEW. I DIDN'T KNOW THIS SITE WAS HERE TIL MY NAGGING WORK PARTNER STARTED GOING ON ABOUT YOUR STORY. I MUST SAY I FIND IT QUITE ABSORBING. I THINK THIS STORY IS MORE A MAN'S STORY--JUST SAYING. SOME WOMEN MIGHT BE UPSET WITH THE BASIC STORY LINE. LINDC IS AN EXCEPTION. SHE LIKES DARK AND SINISTER STUFF. SHE NAGGED ME, SHE CAN BE A BRUTE. HEE HEE. I'LL PROBABLY NEVER HEAR THE END OF IT (WHEN SHE READS THIS)..SO CONSIDER YOURSELF REVIEWED. I MUST, IN ALL HONESTY SAY I AM ENJOYING THIS STORY OF YOURS. SHE TOLD ME TO SIGN THIS BROODING BRIAN. ALTHOUGH, FOR THE LIFE OF ME, I DON'T KNOW WHY.
Author's Response: Hello, Brian - yeah, I now exactly who you're talking about - LOL! Thanks for the review. She told me her and some of her co-workers were actually having discussions about my stories - I'm honored! Not sure why she gave you that nickname, though - you'll have to discuss that with her, I'm afraid - ha! Thank you for reading my stories and especially taking the time to leave a review - I really appreciate it!:)

Author's Response: Thanks, lindc! I'm working on it right now - should have it updated soon but may take me another day or two - I think the "Brooding Brian" would fit either one, don't you - LOL! Take care and thanks again for all the kind words.:)

just got off a double shift--too wired to sleep--so i read up to 16 where you have left off. this story--i have no words to discribe how much i love this story. as far as it being dark--i guess, but it goes along with what could happen to them or anyone for that matter. i have see (in my job) many young men and girls who are brought in to the hospital in somewhat similar situations. the rape i mean. so i guess dark is something i am used to. not a pretty site but nevertheless we have to cope, protect and counsel. am waiting for more chapters to deal with the psycological part of the healing process as it will be on-going for awhile i feel. wonderful story as always you are da bomb!!! lol :D
Author's Response: Thank you as always, lindc! I'm glad you like the story - yes, I want to cover the issue properly, but I AM treading in unfamiliar territory here. I agree - I do not feel to do the story justice it should be short and sweet (i.e., Justin's all healed now). I didn't have the heart to make them start all over again (with their monogamy) or inflict him with a on-going sickness, but I DO feel that Brian (as well as Justin's mother) will be feeling some residual/misplaced guilt for some time to come, so I feel I also need to address that as well. I will be updating this regularly - am now working on the next chapter of "I Don't!" Glad to see you'll be reading this one - thanks for taking the time to review!:) BTW - how did the "other" Brian like it? LOL!

me thinks lane is up to no good.watch out sunshine.
Author's Response: You are exactly right, my friend, and it's going to get VERY dark, I should warn you. Let's just say this is going to be his last go-round.....Hope you'll endure through the rough times until things improve because it may not be easy to handle in the meantime...:)

Author's Response: Yeah, darn jobs - they expect work out of us in order to pay us - LOL! Thanks for tackling this one - let me know how the other Brian likes it later - ha!

Author's Response: Thanks, Marny! I only have three open stories now (LOL!) so at least I should be able to update a little faster....I see this one ending at some point in the near future, but then again, I've said that before and look what happens - ha! Thanks for the review as always - hugs to you, too!:)

breath takingly brilliant
cant wait to see where you go with this
i'm a big fan of all your writings
Author's Response: Thank you very much for the kind words and the review, my friend - this one is going to be quite painful at times to read, but I promise if you hang in there, it will get much better for our boys. Hope you will persevere through the tough times until they are reunited, which I promise you, they will be....thanks for reading and especially reviewing!:)
