This was marvelous! You are an excellent wrtier. I especially loved picturing the boys during the waterfall scene. Well done, thank you for sharing. -Benny
Author's Response: What wonderful comments, Benny. Thank you so much. It took 2 re-writes to complete this story all because of that waterfall scene. I had promised a waterfall adventure to a friend and it was important to get it right. That's why I'm so glad you enjoyed it particularly. I appreciate your comments a great deal. Warmest hugs, Grammy

Why did you pick a Trec Bike? Did you know I used to live near Waterloo WI where they are made? I know many people who work there making those very bikes.
The waterfall was the best water event, beats a boring shower any day. I was hoping a camel would stop by for a drink, you know, if only you had know about the tragedy that happened in Ohio you could have had them swoop down into Ohio and an escaped Camel could have found them and they could have saved his life. I'm sure Jack Hanna would have been glad to find a reason to spare the life of one of those poor animals. That would have been a perfect way to work a camel into a story. Oh well.
I really enjoyed all the work Justin needed to do just to make it possible for him to have a chance at this trip with Brian. Even with my hazzy memory of riding a bike I don't think it would have been enough to get me to agree to a ride that long and sleeping in a tent. To me it sound like Seven Layer Salad of Hell. But I guess when you throw in a waterfall and a massage...nope, still not enough to get me to sit on a bike. I sure am glad you had the energy to make our fit and trim boys to do it.
Marika did a great job on the banner, that girl has the right touch to match your stories perfect.
Thanks so much for a wet and wild bedtime story.
Hugs, Lori
Author's Response: Hi Lori. You know how I am. I always research stuff before throwing it into my story, so I checked out the best bikes for long distance biking/camping adventures. The Trek bike showed up and I liked the reviews I read on it. Seemed perfect for our boys.
That event in Ohio was so tragic that I can't imagine using it in my romantic story but someday I am going to surprise you and a camel will appear out of nowhere just for you. Btw, I signed the petition that is being sent to the Ohio governor to get a law passed wherein an individual cannot house exotic animals on their property unless it is a business and they are regulated. Only 10 States still don't have such a law. For the sake of the animals, it really needs to be passed.
I'm with you that such a trip would never be in the cards for me, but then again I knew our boys could handle it...especially when they have each other for such things as working out the sore muscles with a little stinulating massage. LOL!
I have passed on your comments to Marika about the banner. It is amazing how well she reads my mind when it comes to my stories. She usually gets it right on the first try. I seldom need for her to tweak it to make it better. I'm so glad she has taken on the job of banner maker for me.
I'm so glad you enjoyed the story, Lori. I'll have another one for you on Halloween. Do you like a good ghost story? LOL! Keep an eye out for it. See you then. With great affection, Grammy

I got so inspired to go bicycle myself now, that I had to look up EuroVelo :)
Anyway, thanks for sharing this great little story. Sometimes a one shot is just what you need.
Author's Response: Thank you so much for your comments, Mediana. I had never heard of the EuroVelo Bike Routes before, but after looking it up I am convinced that our boys will definitely have to take that bike ride through parts of Europe like Brian suggested. I'm so glad you enjoyed the story. Thank you so much for coming along for the ride. Warmest hugs, Grammy
