I have been so busy that I did not get a chance to tell you how much I loved your last chapter. This chapter beautifully followed it.

I love that they are becoming friends first. I like how Justin is patiently allowing Brian the space and time he needs. This more than anything shows how Justin has grown.

This is so beautiful and well written! 

I am enjoying seeing how you are bringing the two boys together again, but slowly getting closer. 

They are people different now and need to know one another each other again in order to fall in love again and rediscover the love that never died for either. 

Brian is available to help Justin in anything is something very natural for him and I see Brian doing this not an impulsive way, but of course, even being so far away from Justin. It's something that Brian does not think too much, with no other intention in the gesture. Justin simply need help and Brian will always help you, in whatever it is. 

The only thing that still bothers me is the "ghost" of the return of Aidan in the middle of this still fragile process. I do not think Brian will survive the return of the man who was in his life for so long and then simply just walked away without any explanation. And I also worry how Justin will react to this return. 

And I'd love to know more of the life of Justin throughout this period he was away.

I finally got to read the new chapters. 

It is sad to see how Brian is suffering, but your reaction to all that had happened is very understandable. He does not understand what took Aidan to leave, he feels abandoned and that is what is affecting him more. 

I can see the reasons why Brian to stay away from everyone, including of Justin. I'm really liking what you did not take the two together immediately. It's been a long time in which the two stayed away and we need to build your relationship back to something that is real and not just a way to compensate and alleviate the pains of each. 

I really like Ted. He is one of the most interesting characters in the show after Brian for me. And you were brilliant at portraying their friendship with Brian. 

I really like the friendship relationship between Brian and Ted. It's one of the things I like about QAF and one of the few reasons that cause I still watch Season 5 without me feel so frustrated. The 513th episode is a case apart. 

I hope you bring Aidan back. A closure of her story with Brian and it is clarified the reasons for his departure is required. 

I  still love very much your story and you're doing an amazing job.

This is so weird but I'm having trouble letting Aiden go .. and I'm beginning to realise I probably won't be able to until I know why he felt he had to leave. I know I said I didn't need it .. I was wrong. Agreeing with his choice is neither here nor there .. I certainly never 'agreed' with Justins decision ... But the not knowing feels like limbo. Justin gave Brian closure and that enabled him to move on and fall in love again and I think for Brian and Justin to stand a chance he ll need that from Aiden too. I like your pacing .. It feels real, this story always feels real .. thats why I love it.

Today was one of those days when you wish you never got out of bed. I was nice to immerse myself in the story again. It was a great relaxer.

I feel bad for Brian. He is hurting. I like that the feelings he had for Aiden were real. I am also happy he's not falling into happy ever after with Justin.

Each one of them has grown. Brian isn't that tricking, drinking, pill popping asshole anymore. He was in a relationship. Something that doesn't go away over night. He had let go of Justin.

Justin isn't a child anymore. Though he held onto Brian emotionally I feel he should have to work at getting Brian back.

I also hope you bring Aiden back. Brian may need closure to be able to move on with Justin.

When Iread your fiction, you put so many intense émotion and thoughts of Brian on his feelings for Aiden made you seem the relationship and love of Brian/Justin as nonexistent and worthless and I want you this (literally speakin).

I wonder how you are going to recreate the relationship with Brian/Justin !!! NOT FOR ME;

LET ME EXPLAIN :

When Justin decided to make the freedom Brian for his departure to Europe, it is only because he does not know how long it will be out, he will not have imposed Brian.

But there is no doubt that Brian and Justin love so strong, timeless and indelible.

Throughout the years Justin has working for him and Brian, he wants Brian to be proud of him.

He left to become the artist he is supposed to become.

Brian is Justin unique and true love and always will be, Justin and Brian is that he shall find it.

Out, Brian thought it seems that Justin will not return, and despite some difficult months that gives a chance to rebuild his life with Aiden quickly.

5 years later, Justin returned to his family, his friend and of course Brian again.

It is that Brian has a partner, it is ready to offer his friendship if that's all he has left.

WARNING :

When Brian and Justin are separated, they still love each other, they suffered from separation, but they still loved him.

5 years later, Justin found it upsetting to face Brian, emotions are too strong, it is moved too, but despite that it wants to show its support and compassion for Brian.

Brian after the surprise, displays his mask of indifference and coldness, it sends it to hell, he even leave it on the steps of the brethel door !!!!!

YOU CAN NOT DO THESE TWO CHARACTERS REGRESS.

JUSTIN :

Justin is no longer the 17 year old student who wants love Brian because Brian admitted he loved her.

Justin is not ready to take it on all the crap Brian silently boy because it's what he wants in a relationship, it is more mature, more demanding.

He can not be the sex toy of Brian as the stard of their meeting because Brian refused to recognize "that he liket justin".

BRIAN :

Brian is also more mature, he no longer manages the pain in alcohol and drugs and tricking foolish as before.

It has come to accept that he can love and be loved, he can face it now even it it still can not say easily.

He can not bully  emottionally or sexully Justin according his unease as he hid nothing was Justin, Justin is the one who was able to see him and know by heart from the beginning.

YOU CAN NOT GIVE BRIAN IN THE ROLE OF ASSHOLE ANS JUSTIN AND ROLE OF THE VICTIM.

You'll have to show more subtlety to reform our relationship.

They will have to learn to know this, it has to rediscover, at this trust and love.

And I do not like the fact that Aiden and may return in the relationship Brian/Justin. It is a cloud over their head and I hate that.

You have a nice quality writing, so do not spoil this by falling into ease please.

I'm happy with the meeting he had with Michael and Emmet. I like how you write a more balanced Michael in its history. I believe that Ben Zen finally helped her husband find the much needed balance. 

Now that Justin came back, Daphne will also make an appearance? I love the character and along with Jennifer are my two favorite secondary characters. 

And the long-awaited reunion ... I found it very plausible. Justin would look for Brian. He knew that the man was suffering and would certainly look for it at least to see him and see how he was. What about Brian, of course he would do everything harder. He is injured and will only see Justin reopen old wounds that have not fully healed. 

As I told you I like your story. Currently, due to various circumstances I have just followed this story and stories of Kim, but there is something that bothers me: Justin's coming back when Aidan left the life of Brian. I'm sorry, but to me it gives the impression that Justin is a consolation prize for Brian and it saddens me to feel that, at this moment, the love that Brian feels for Aidan may have surpassed the love he felt for Justin. Forgive me, but I feel that way. 

I trust you and believe that you will do the best for our boys.

I'm glad you like a more likeable Michael here. I don't necessarily dislike him (I know I'm a minority), mainly because I love all characters in QAF. And I do believe that in this story, having a more whining Michael wouldn't have brought anything more, quite the contrary.

About Daphne, I don't know yet, it's a possibility of course, I will have to see where my muse brings me!

I'm glad you find Justin/Brian reunion plausible. Justin did the right thing here, and it wasn't easy. Brian is not ready for Justin to come back in his life yet, but he is a smart man, I'm not sure he will keep him at arms's length for too long. That doesn't mean they are going to go back to each other like nothing happened. A lot happened. They're not the same persons anymore.

I understand your feeling about Justin being a consolation prize. Be assured he won't be, not for me. In my mind, B/A and B/J are a completely different relationship. There is no 'better one'. Just different. I really like both couples and don't have a preference as a writer, as this story is clearly not about who is best for Brian. It's about love and life, friendship and family. Brian and Justin's relationship now will be different from what they shared in the past, because both men have changed. But I still hope you will like it and that I won't disappoint any B/J shippers.  I will try my best, I promise!

Did I mention this is one of my favorite stories now?

I loved this chapter.  It's very realistic.  No just falling into each others arms.  This is gritty and raw and real and I LOVE it!

Brian's reaction to Justin is believable. I wouldn't have bought it had it gone down any other way.   He's hurt, and now his ex lover pops up?  He's shutting down. Only time, and maybe a little persistance from a particular blonde will help heal him.  :-)

Both men are at a turning point in their life. One is going through a painful event, the other is at a point in his life where he is serene and happy. Brian is shutting down, you're right and Justin wants to help, or at least for Brian to know he's here if needed. I have all the ingredients to write about the themes I treasure the most, Life, Friendship, Family and Love... It has to be hard for Justin, you're right, but it's absolutely no surprise either. You're perfectly right also, in saying that Justin has growed up a lot. He doesn't have the same expectations here, meaning, he knows Brian is not 'pushing him away' for the reasons he did before. He is just protecting himself like everybody would in his situation. His partner has left just two weeks ago and if Brian had accepted to see Justin now, nothing good could have happened from it. Justin knows it. Still, he doesn't regret his decision to propose his help either, as Brian knows now he is here for him if he needs him. That was Justin's goal with his visit.

So, a short or a long way? We will see... ;)

I love the character of Brian Kinney, I felt the writers of qaf never fully explored his story line. I get upset that people see him as an abusive asshole. I felt Justin was the abusive one in the relationship. I know I'm a minority.

Even though we disagree in the direction of the story it does not take away from the excitement I feel in reading the story. I anticipate each chapter. When you are done I will go back and read the story from beginning to end.

Then I will anticipate your next story. You are a talented writer. I hope you won't stop at one because this is good.

I still can not bring myself to back the return of Justin will be beneficial for both right now. 

Brian is so hurt that the return of Justin can cause so many problems that perhaps the two are unable to get hurt even more.

Brian was always thought of as an asshole, yet he never allowed first Justin and then Aiden's leaving to force him to anger.  Yet Michael has always shown anger towards the people he perceives as having hurt or betrayed Brian when it was never his place.  Perhaps Alex Wilde can be of help?

Hi my friend! You're right, Brian was always thought of the bad guy but when you think about it, he was always the nice guy when a real problem occurred. That's one of the thing that makes him special. Michael is...Michael LOL. But in a way, that's what friends usually do, they take side to support their friends and it's not always right. But IMO it's human nature nonetheless :)

That was heartbreaking.  I suspect what is happening with Aiden and it won't be pretty.  If I'm correct, I hope that both Brian and Justin will be able to help him when the time comes.

This is a story about love and friendship in a general way. If you are waiting for B/J proclaiming their undying love, married, monogamous, with babies, and all, you will definitively be disappointed. So, I would advice you to read another story even if I truly appreciate you saying you like my writing. I hope you understand I'd rather be honest with you that having you getting too emotional about it ;)

I anticipated this as much as the other readers. I feel so heartbroken for Brian. Another great chapter. The only thing that bothers me is that the circumstance of Aidan leaving Brian is a bit rushed. I agree with the other readers that this development seems so sudden - and that is even though we already anticipated that Aidan would be leaving. But it's done so I'm just waiting for the B/J part and a plausible explanation why Aidan left - he is probabaly ill or is going to be. Anyway, again, if you decide to give an alternate ending, you have one guaranteed reader here.

Hi my friend! I know and I agree of course. Aidan's departure is rushed and unfair to Brian, clearly. I will explain his motivations before the end of the story. I myself don't necessarily agree, meaning I don't think it's the solution at all, but I could see him reacted this way. Definitively. So, yes, it's the end.. Also, as I said to other readers, I might have rushed things myself, because writing this was hard (the last three chapters were clearly the hardest to write so far). I never thought before writing this story that I could be so emotionnaly involved with the characters, it's exhausting!! lol There is still a lot to come so I hope you will enjoy it :)

I feel like you are trying to push a situation that allows Justin to come back to Brian. I understood Aiden mourning his sister and being upset. I didn't understand his need to run away. I feel it was contived to coinside with Justin coming back.

I don't see a clean resolution between Brian and Aiden. If you are going to have ill, than let him and Brian work their way through it. Try to ease Brian and Justin ease themselves back into a relationship.

I still love the story. I check it everyday to see if you updated. Don't give up. It's a good first story.

Hi toniu! Well, as all stories, yes, I admit the plot serves the plot, so to speak. Aidan's leaving is rushed, but  I think Aidan is not rational here. I will give his thoughts before the end of this story of course. The plot is in my head for such a long time right now that I won't back down. Aidan is gone for good, I'm afraid...

I'm glad you are still enjoying the ride, even if I know you don't necessarily agree with what is going on. I admit I don't agree with Aidan here, even if I understand his actions.

I would dearly love to know why Aidan is leaving Brian.  There must be something wrong with his health and I think not telling Brian the reason is a mistake.  So Justin comes home.  He wouldn't try to break them up, but does Aidan know that?  If there is a health issue, I can see Brian sticking with Aidan and Justin being there to help, the three of them would do whatever it takes to make Aidan happy.  But as always - however you take this story, I know I'll enjoy it.

First, thank you so much for the beautiful ending between Brian and Aiden.  It tore my heart.   I think on some level Brian 'knows'. And I hope you don't leave us hanging and tell us before the story ends!

Second, I want you to know that this story, has quickly become one of my top 5 favorites. Right up there with Full Circle, by bedeviled.   I still cry over that one.  This story is of the same magnitude.

 I do hope you don't rush it along.  The 'reunification' between Justin and Brian, in order to be believable, must not be rushed, and filled with ups and downs. It shouldn't come easy, but in the end, I believe they will find a love stronger in many ways then what they had in the past.  Because of their experiences loving others, they will appreciate and cherish their newfound relationship even more.  (well I hope)

Clearly, he wouldn't react that way if he didn't have an idea about why Aidan is acting that way, even if he might not be really conscious about it now. We will know of course at one point why Aidan felt he had to go now, and not later, and what Brian will think about it.

Brian and Aidan's goodbye seems strangely familiar ;) But the big question is why is he leaving? And doesn't Brian deserve more than a simple 'I have to'? I mean for heaven's sake for lack of a better description, they ultimately shared something far deeper than even Brian shared with Justin. (Sorry just calling a spade a spade) Aidan owes him the truth above all else. Damn...I can feel his pain and the subsequent rebuilding of the walls he had managed to tear down twice, that in itself makes Justin’s return and offer of any help bittersweet.

How very Brian of Aiden .. if my guess is right, and I kind of hope it isn't, this is a reason for leaving Brian that I can fully understand. Justin's coming home .. Justin who? Sorry missed something on previous post.

Loving this story & Brian with Aidan. I think the dementia is probably genetic and Aidan is heading the same way as his sister. Something in the chapter where she died got me thinking, only my thoughts, but this sounds ominous for Aidan having the same as Olivia?.

"A sense of dread comes over him, as he thinks of what Olivia’s death really means. It means he can’t run and hide anymore. He has to face his own truth, even if it’s the last thing he wants to do. He just hopes that fate will spare him. If not… life will never be the same"

I am really looking forward to the rest of the story. I would be quite happy for Brian to stay with Aiden, they are a good match, probably more so than Brian with Justin. Plus they have now been together longer and they truly love and are in love deeply with each other. Which way to go eh!!! Up to you but I'm really enjoying the writing, keep up the good work!

Poor Brian. He truly has given all of himself, yet again, only to be left. Again. I know, I know, Justin is returning. Blah blah blah. Haha - just kidding. I'm excited for his return I promise. I just want the best of both worlds - Brian with Aidan, and Brian with Justin. Is that really too much to ask for?! ;)

As per usual, this was another amazing and truly emotional chapter. I know it's kind of weird, but every time I hear the song "Amnesia" by 5 Seconds of Summer, I think of this story. Every. Single. Time. Clearly the whole Brian/Aidan dynamic is now a permanent part of my (sub)concious thinking. 

I'm dying to know what is going on in Aidan's head. Clearly he's working through some demons, etc. And again, there's poor Brian. Most likely finding some way to blame himself. I just want to give him a hug and tell him it'll be okay. I guess Michael has that job taken care of though. Even though I wanted B/J reunited in the end, I could have easily pictured B/A going strong for a decade and more. You've just made them into such a strong couple. 

Keep that muse of yours going :)
