I'm wondering from where you got the pictures of B&J kissing (maybe in S5?) and the one at the table. I don't remember any scene like this in QaF.

Micheal, as per usual is a self involved little asshole. I can't imagine ever asking someone to cover me finacially, let alone expecting it or assuming it.
Glad that Deb seems to have seen the light regarding Micheal, even if it may be temporary lol. she seems to waffle between expecting people to help him, or expectin him to grow up.
I hope Lindz and Mel really start to appreciate the time they have to work on their relationship, now that B&J have Gus more often. At least Lindz seems to have realized the way things are, and is not so ready to rock the boat.
Poor Em. Stuck at Deb's. Caught between a rock adn a hard place it seems. Has to leave to get away from whiney Micheal.

Mel really thought she could pull one over on Brain?? She's right in that she should've realized Brian would be prepared. I think she adn Lindsey are really going to be in for a rude awakening going forward. They're thinking that they'll have the time to spend as a couple and with JR, but I think Lindsey is going to be less cooperative to that idea. She may be going along with it now, but once they stop receiving an income from B&J and have to do things on their own, she may just try to manipulate things. I wouldn't be surprised of a court case actually comes about in teh future.
It's great that a story that was simply going to be a couple of drabbles initially has turned into this. I am thoroughtly enjoying it and look forward to every update. :)

I think they're troubled marriage is domed, more together time only will provide more time to nitpick and fight. At least Mel is thinking logically and even admit the agreement is a good thing. Of course dear sweet (poison is also sweet) Lindsay is only thinking of the money slipping away. I hope B/J also stops paying for JR so they can haul Mikey's whiny ass to court for child support or to take away his rights. A real parent doesn't just get to have fun without any of the responsibilities. Another reason Brian needs to stop paying because that's part of why Mikey and Linds never grew up and it's way past time.

The good thing about the situation with the network yesterday is that I woke up to THIS!!!!! YES!! I LOVED this! This chapter should carry the subtitle "All's Fair in War and Court!" I am so happy that Ted is as neurotic as he is about financial records; it really saved Brian's ass. I love how Diane literally took the wind out of their sails by bringing every possible counter-argument they could have. The absolute NERVE of Lindsay!! Well...welll...well I knew this chick would turn up sooner than later with her mouth open and her hand out!!!! OH PLEASE let Mel and Lindz be stupid enough to play around with Brian!! I'm so glad he is pointing out the differences made between him and Michael and the unfairness that he's basically being expected to support Michael's kid too. There's no way that Brian'm money will only go to Gus' care. The only way that could happen is if Brian pays the daycare directly, buys Gus' food and clothes himself and pay 1/4 of the mortage directly to the mortgage company and call it 'Gus room and board.' Since Brian isn't like that, Lindsay has been taking advantage big time. Well it looks like Dumb(L) and Dumber (M) are really on their own now and the access to the bottomless money pit has FINALLY been revoked. Hopefully (no matter how far-fetched that hope is) Melanie will wise up too about Brian and finally do what's right! I also hope that eventually she will take a page from Ben's book and either get a grip on her marriage or let it go! Lindsay and Michael (ESPECIALLY Michael) are certifiably insane and need to be committed somewhere to help them face reality. The Eternal Peter Pan is gone and so is Captain Astro which means it's te for Wendy and Galaxy Lad to disappear too!!

I've been keeping up although I haven't been able to leave a review on every single one of these delightful sequences! I really love with you are doing with these! The escape to Hawaii was PERFECT and really should have been done regardless of it Justin went to NY or not!!! Who said that a long-distance romance/marriage couldn't have worked for a time? So thank you for righting that egregious wrong done in the series!
Lindsay and Michael...UGH! They infuriate me (I'll be paying them back mercilessly in my own fics, LOL)! Although Lindsay was bad enough- and I hope that Melanie will put a leash and muzzle on her- Michael is just a straight up Assssssssshole <in my best Ted voice>. And now we have the Avenging Mother with only minimal facts once again trying to make Brian responsible for her petulant child's actions! I love the way Brian handled her although I really did wish that he would have given her the WHOLE story for once. She really needs to 86 the rose colored glasses in reference to Michael and start letting him reap the benefits (or non-benefits in this case) of what his big mouth sows. He's the walking talking cliche of writing checks that his (non-existent) ass can't cash!
