I don't read WIPs, so was pleased to see this story was completed. And, boy, was it worth the wait! Definitely one of my favorite fixes for the disastrous CowLip version of Season 5.
Those episodes left such a bad taste in my mouth that I've never been able to watch the reruns; once was definitely more than enough. So, I'm always excited to read a nice, long 'fix', and I've read many good ones. With its elements of mystery, romance, and growth, this story is absolutely one of the best. Thank you for writing and sharing!

Author's Response: Thank you! This story has definately been a labor of love. I hated the last episode and writing this was definately cathardic. Working on The Spy Who Loved Me right now but this one is alwys on my mind. Definately a subplot...because I hated the way they ended Emmett's story too. And I want him to have epic love like B/J. =) But this is definately all about Brian and Justin's reunion and future.

I'm all caught up on all the chapters and am loving this story. So glad that caught that wack job Adam, sick fucker! I had a feeling when he went into Em's room it was a set up, couldn't stand it if something else happened to my Em. Good for Em telling Calvin he didn't want to see him again. The guy won't even testify against Adam after all that. Thankfully Justin is ok! That was such a dangerous thing for him to do, but very much like him. He can't keep doing that to Brian though, not sure how many more times the man can go through being scared for Justin's life. I hope you update soon, this story is fantastic!
